Had several pass and offer help and at that time thought I had it figured out which I did partially, didn't know both pumps went out till mechanic got there from San Antonio. All is well and just another learning experience. The stars in the clear sky were fantastic that night and got to see alot of wildlife leaving that late, spotlight on roof came in real handy.... We had another great time and sister and brother in law said to say hi to everyone as they really enjoyed the gathering and said everyone was so nice and want to attend again. Can't wait for next one and this time it will be without any " gas woes "

Alas, there will probably not be an Airstream dealer at the RV show unless the dealer in San Antonio comes up. Camper Clinic ducked the show last year because of the obscene cost of display space; I forget what they said space woudl cost them, but it sure raised my eyebrows! On the weekend of the show, however, Camper Clinic did have an open house set up at the dealership with a tent, serving BBQ, etc. and were promising show discounts.

Nice group photo.Did the photographer set the timer and get into the pic?

How about a listing of who is who in the pic.

Left to Rght standing;

Left to Right kneeling.

Would like to know what camera and settings was used too.

You Austin area folks do great rally reports.

Oops!

Thanks for pointing that out, Gary, I edited the names, giving Charles credit. He had one mac-daddy camera!

What a fine group, wish we had been able to attend. Hopefully Peter is planning the next outing, maybe the beach in the spring? Next time come hell or high water we'll be there. Soon, our youngest will be out of the nest and hopefull won't interrupt our travel plans. I need to find one of those old bumpersticker that used to read ' we're spending our kids inheritance' maybe change that to read
'mess with me and you won't have an inheritance'

The RV show is a great place to check out what you don't want, a new SOB.Are they thinking Motorhome like you have? Won't find that at any RV show, you have to track them down and make them your own! After 2 years Peter and I finally had the kind of Airstream that should be at a RV show , but never is ! A fully restored Classic ! NOw if I can just win an antique metal fan in a door prize I would be as cool as David !('')

SOB

John and Martha really got a kick out of ya'lls term 'sob'. Hah ! I think that they really appreciated how efficient and comfy camper life is.

We will probably c/o the Austin show just cause there is usually a new whizz bang gizmo / option introduced, plus it affirms my decision to have not purchased an sob. :}

I'm proposing to enter my recently acquired super cool fan in the periodic grab bag festivities - that way everyone gets a chance to enjoy it.
