Unfortunately if you are using a mobile device (cell phone or tablet) to access the RSVP page, it may not work. You will need to access the RSVP page from the Airforums site on a computer. In addition, the software does not allow me to enter your information on the RSVP page so I can't do it for you. Sorry the reservation page doesn't work on all mobile devices, we are limited to the capabilities of the Airforums system.

Once you have access to a computer, go to the Airforums.com site and log in. You must be logged in to use the RSVP page. Go to the RSVP page using the link in brown boldface type below. Then follow the instructions listed below the link.

Canopener 2019 RSVP Page - Rally Registration Link

1) Scroll to the bottom of the page.
2) Indicate you are attending the rally by clicking on the "yes" button
3) In the comments box provide your site number, the names of the people on the site, and your arrival/departure dates.
4) Click the "submit" button. This is critical!
5) If your plans change later, please go back to the RSVP page and make the revisions noting your plan change.

Just reserved Site 144, arriving December 31st, 2018, departing January 7th, 2019. Not a pull-through site like I wanted, but I had to take what I could get. Not the perfect site for me, but it will do.

And since new and very charming travel companion hates my Airstream's wet bath, site 144 has proximity to the bathhouse as a collateral benefit, as well as being decently far from the construction zone.

Side note, it was the ONLY site left in the 103 Loop for a December 31st arrival date, and one of only four sites available anywhere in the park for that arrival date. Hopefully a lot of the sites that weren't available for arrival on December 31st will be available for later arrivals.

Lynn and Latha enjoyed our first time at the Canopener so much that we are returning. We have site 65. Don’t know if that’s a good site or not but we are coming anyway. Be there on the 31st of Dec. to the 7th.

So glad to have y’all back!
One of the many great things about Topsail is that EVERY site is a great site! And being a part of Canopener is all about being outside and wandering around the park joining up with fellow Canopenians! Any site is a great site if your at thee Canopener

Al and Missy on 40. We thought we'd try the other neighborhood. We'll be arriving 12/30 and looking forward to a NYE party in the clubhouse and our 5th Canopener.

Subscribed Thread

Some of you may not know this, but one of the neat aspects of AirForums is "subscribing" to a thread, like this one on CanOpener 2019. Subscribing to a thread means you automatically get an regular email every day with the posts made on the thread the day before. It really saves time if you want to see what comments have been made (like updated map, for example). Another benefit of subscribing is going into AirForums and clicking on "Quick Links" on the first page to see all the threads you are subscribed to and getting to the Canopener 2019 thread faster.

To subscribe, either make a short post like your name and site (others have done this) or on the first page of the thread, where the RSVP link is, there's a blue bar just above the thread that has a button that says "Thread Tools". Clicking on this "Thread Tools" and then clicking on "Subscribe" allows you to subscribe without ever posting anything.

Hello everyone. Rob & Susan Goodell are booked at Topsail Hill - Site 132, scheduled to arrive on 12/31/18 and leave on 1/7/19. I followed the RSVP ink and have completed the registration information for Canopener 2019.

This will be our first Canopener Rally and we are really looking forward to it.

We are relatively new to the Airstream community having purchased our 2017 Flying Cloud 23D last March. We have a few trips under our belts already but still have a lot to learn. Attending the Canopener Rally sounds like a great way to speed up the learning process and make some new friends.

On our most recent trip, we braved the cold for 3 days of camping at Henderson Beach State Park in Destin at the end of the first week of January. That place is really, really nice. On Thursday afternoon we decided to drive over to check out Topsail Hill as a potential place to camp the next time we came to the area and discovered Airstreams EVERYWHERE!! That’s when we were made aware of the annual Canopener event taking place and decided we would try to make it in 2019 to join in on the fun.

Looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible next year!

Canopener Map Update

We now have 63 official registrations for the rally on the Canopener 2019 RSVP page. I've updated the maps to reflect those reservations. If you have a campsite reservation, and haven't registered for the rally, please go to the RSVP page (link below) and sign up.

Canopener 2019 RSVP Page - Rally Registration

Canopner 2019 Map - Sites 1-99

Canopener 2019 Map - Sites 100-168

To sign up for the rally on the RSVP page (link above) when you land on the page:
1) Scroll to the bottom of the page
2) Click the "yes" button to indicate you are attending the rally.
3) In the RSVP box type in your site number, the first names of the people occupying your Airstream, and provide your arrival/departure dates.
4) Click the "submit" button. This is a critical step!
5) If you make changes later, including canceling your campsite reservation, please return to the RSVP page and revise it so the organizers will be aware of your new status.

Thanks for your help!

Not very many sites to choose from this morning Friday 2. 2018. We are in site 69. It appears Canopener needs to find a larger location.

Map Updates

Hello everyone. Quite a few RSVP's over the past 48 hours. We have 69 official RSVP's on the RSVP page, including one reservation at Grayton Beach State Park. For those of you who can't obtain a campsite reservation at Topsail, Grayton Beach State Park is only 8 miles from the location of the Canopener Rally. There are also cabins at Topsail that can be reserved.

Here are map updates and links to the RSVP page.

Occasionally there is a glitch in the photo retrieval on the Airforums site. I checked the link this morning and it seems to be working properly. I show 39 names in the 103 loop (Sites 100-168).
