Ahh... length of stay of course! Missed that with my narrowed mind of the limited vacation time that we have...

Cool.

I showed the new map to Annette. She busted out laughing at the back hoes, bull dozers, tractors and stuff. You are very talented Chuck. Must have been a slow day in the basement shop.
Thanks for setting it all up.

Which brings up a question that maybe the rangers can answer…

There's a bathhouse right opposite the dumpsters at the end of that loop— between sites 17 and 25— shown by the "shower" icon. Will that bathhouse be closed as well? If so, that probably ought to be identified, too, so that those who wish to be close to a bathhouse know not to be close to that one.

Welcome to Canopener. It is a wonderful rally and you'll have a great time!

Your campsite reservation does not automatically register you for the rally. Given the number of people who attend these rallies the organizers have a central RSVP page where attendees can indicate their site number, names, and dates of attendance. The link for the page is provided at the link below.

On the RSVP page, scroll to the bottom of the page, indicate your plan to attend the rally, and type in the comments box your site number, first names of humans in your party, and the dates of arrival and departure. Once you register with the rally your name will go on the map and list of attendees.

Canopener 2019 RSVP Page - Rally Registration

After registering, if your plans change please return to the RSVP page and note the changes.

Thanks for registering with the rally.

We tried to enter our information but when we selected submit, we saw an error message,
Invalid Redirect URL (https://www.airforums.com/forums/cal...c=1&redirect=1)

So we don't know if the information went through.

It didn't go through if it doesn't show up on the page after refreshing. Were you logged into AirForums when you submitted? If you weren't logged in prior to entering data, it won't accept the submission.

Yes, I was logged in. Did not see us the map afterwards.
Just did it again, the same way and this time I think it went through. We did not get an error message this time..
However, it did not show up on the map.

Per the park rangers; They’re hoping the bath house will be part of the new construction project. So I would plan on it being closed, or completely demolished

Annette.............apparently returning as a Canopener party planner.......

Map is updated manually. You won't see your name until the next update.

Canopener 2019 Map Update

Al
Al is 100% correct. The maps are updated manually based on the information appearing on the RSVP page. The RSVP page is checked at least once a day during the period of highest reservation activity (now). Most or all of the sites will be booked by mid February given the popularity of this rally. From mid-February to the date the rally begins bookings change infrequently as people cancel and others pick up the cancellations. Maps only update every 3-4 weeks as we move into the summer months when there is little activity.

Here's a link to the 103 Loop map as of 6:30 am this morning.

Canopener 2019 Map Sites 100-168

I know of three other site bookings for the rally but since they haven't shown up on the Airforums RSVP page, they aren't recorded on the map.

So you reserve now starting on 12/27 let’s say. Go for 12-14 days. Come back in a month or so and change your start date for a nominal fee

JudyJudy and Boogieshoes will be back in site 140. Planning another Chili con Queso and Sangria evening at our site sometime before the official start of Canopener. This is our favorite rally of the year; hard to believe it will be our 4th time to attend; so many wonderful people we look forward to seeing again. We were one of seven AS from the Razorback Unit attending this year; gird your loins, there may be more of us in 2019!

New Year's Eve

Good news - we've reserved the Clubhouse for New Year's Eve. Planning on some kind of appetizer party, maybe some music/dancing, tram down to beach... ideas? Also, hike on New Year's Day and a trip to the microbrewery one day.

Looking forward to another great Canopener - expanded version.

Couldn’t get there through the App or the mobile interface. Those with mobile devices may need to go through their web browser and select “full site”. I did successfully RSVP.
