Friday Night Pizza Party at #112
Okay, close enough I guess I can announce....
We'll be bringing a few pizzas with us (5-20 lg depending upon the interest) to reheat over the coals. (We've done this before a few times and it works great).
We'll also be packing the music equipment so if it's not too cold, we'll probably have some live music to go along with it.

This year we are dedicating the tournament to Cynthia Thoede, a long-standing member of our Canopener family who passed away suddenly in September. Please sign up below if you are playing or can help. Last minute sign-ups at the tournament location are welcome. This is a single elimination tournament.

Interested??? It's pizza and live music, of course I'm interested
Nothing better than an afternoon of corn hole and margaritas followed by a night of pizza and beer (unless there's Bloody Mary's in the morning!)

Just RSVP'd. So excited. First Canopener. We are staying in space 45 in our FC Bunkhouse and will have our 1964 Ambassador (which is setup as a bar) in space 47. I live about 20 min East of Topsail and am thinking we will set up one rig Wednesday and the other Thursday. I will have the kids with me (son Cal, 11 and daughter Cam, 7) and BabyGal, our Boxer who is a bit of a mess. Might have some guests as well. Can't wait!!!! -Geo

If any of you incoming/outgoing Canopener travelers stop at the TA Truck Stop on I-10 in Marianna and eat at their restaurant (it's really good actually) ask for Alex to be your waitress, if she is working that day. She is my favorite sever there (actually, she is my oldest daughter) and is picking up some part time work hours. She's pretty new, but working hard and always has a smile! I told her to keep a look for Airstreams coming through this week. Tell her her Momma sent you! ~Joy

Question on the water thing, are you saying that there will be water at the park but we will have to keep it running? So we leave our gray water tank valve open too? Just checking as I am not familiar with cold weather operations.

No. Leave your gray tank valve closed. As long as you have heat to keep the gray tank from freezing, you'l be fine. Better than letting water freeze in your slinky! Next morning when the temperature rises above freezing, that's soon enough to dump your gray tank.
They say forewarned is fore-armed, so I'm bringing my heated freshwater hose.

I don't normally fill the fresh tank so I hope they have water there. If water is running all night it must be a trickle then. This is hilarious, I am coming to the cold! We almost never see freezing at home!
