To bad, but thanks for the input. I just don't need to see these images bad enough to get a bunch of junk from Yahoo. Everyone I know who uses them for their mail service has been pummelled with hacked accounts mailing spam to everyone in their contact lists.
Yahoo bought Flickr. Google bought Picasa. Both Yahoo and Google make money by selling information gathered from their "free" services. Loss of privacy is the price we pay for many "free" internet services.

A fictional cell phone number might be one way to overcome the problem. I know movies and television show use the "555" number prefix for fictional numbers.

I certainly understand the concern about revealing one's cell phone number. I set up my Yahoo and Flickr accounts long before this requirement was instituted so I wasn't even aware of the cell phone number requirement. I'll study the issue over the next year and try to find another solution for photo sharing prior to Canopener 2016. I have no experience with Picasa and Instagram. Perhaps a Canopener website is the best answer.

I'm open to suggestions.

They text a number to your cell phone that you use to log in... Not sure how you would do it if you don't have a cell phone. Surely they have an option for people without a phone.

I'll bet Canopenians.com or .net or .org are available.

I'll just wait to view hopefully a video of Canopener instead of opening a new Yahoo account to access Flickr for pictures. I get enough spam as it is now! Have always enjoyed seeing the fun everyone had at previous events.

There is a Facebook Group a few of us opened last year but we never promoted it.
The group is Canopener Airstream Rally. It is a public group but you have to join, which will not be a problem. If you folks want to try this out for sharing photos and videos, feel free. We can see where this goes and how it works out.
For now, we do want to make this clear. The Canopener is an Airforums Rally and we think it important to keep it that way. Like that great American Roadtoaster said. "What has been done in the past has worked pretty good since we filled up the park this year!"
More coming later......

Hey Lisa! It was awesome meeting you! That was the friendliest bunch of people ever, huh? You planning on any other rallies this year? I'm thinking our next one will be Falluminum. We've got a pretty busy spring and summer laid out already, so our next big trip will have to be this fall. Glad you enjoyed the bike. Hoping to hang out with everyone more next year. We were just dog tired and cold... I know, I know, excuses are like sphincters. But we seriously got ourselves a bit too busy leading up to Canopener. Really enjoyed the people we met, and the payed back attitude of Canopener. Cool thing is, only three weeks until I can reserve for next year! BAM!

-Red, stoked for next year already...
