Angry We're here, but not unscathed

We realized we had conflicts on Monday and Wednesday night. Work and vet visits for the min schnauzer delayed preparations.

When leaving this morning we managed to hit a pillar on a wall adjacent to the driveway and did serious damage to the lower curbside end cap. I dont think it's going to buff out. Also hung the bumper on the pillar and pulled the curb side off the frame. Took some time for field expedient repairs and didn't get in until after 9.

Sorry we missed the chilifest. We'll bring ours Saturday night.

By the way, who was in charge of the weather?

Al

Everybody says that's me, because I was the one wandering around in short sleeves Wednesday afternoon while everyone else was bundled up like Eskimos. I finally started feeling the cold after the sun went down and the wind picked up, and I've bundled up like everyone else ever since.

As for the short sleeves on Wednesday, that's because I got such a warm welcome from everyone!

Friday activities

Good morning.

For those who missed Americana Under the Stars last night, you really missed a fantastic concert. We were blessed to have both Lucky Mudd and Brian Smalley play. What great musicians and we had a great time.

Just spoke to Ranger Fred, the controlled burn for this morning has been canceled and the hike with him is on for 9AM.

Kleen Tank seminar at 9AM at clubhouse.

Remember Cornhole Tournament begins at noon on Wild Oak Lane.

If you cannot find something to do, shame on you!

Oh, and I'm down with oysters... Try to get Mrs Red to eat one. Fun stuff.

-Red, loving the bivalve molluscs...

We got in late last night. Our bungalow was 43 degrees inside! Thankfully it warmed up by 20 degrees within a few hours and we didn't have to make a late night run to Walmart for an electric blanket.

Anyway we're so sorry to have missed the fun on Thursday night. Boo. Getting a slow start this morning but we'll get out soon and see who we can meet.

During open house Saturday, come see us at site # 127- our focus will be on kitchen storage/organization and full timing ideas. We'll have coffee with some adult additives and homemade cookies!

Not trying to compete with the oysters, but i brought some crawfish and fixins. If enough interest I'll crank up the boiler and the firepit around 5:30. Any takers?

Not enough notice, I'm sure. I'll crank up the boil during open house.

We will have our Eddie Bauer available for viewing during the open house tomorrow-site 028. We have been full timing for the last 18 months with our 2 Chesapeake Bay Retrievers and 6 month old son all across the United States. We would love to hear about your experiences and answer any questions you may have about full timing. It's been an amazing experience! Hope to meet you tomorrow! Jason, Amber & Jasper
