Haven't gotten written orders yet, hoping for west coast either SD or WA.

There is reason they call it a dream sheet. Good luck.

Dylan & Kathy from MS - Site #80 - First time owners of an airstream AND first time Canopener attendee! I think my hubby will be very interested in the removal of tar with "crow"! We just purchased a slightly used 2014 25' FB and LOVE HER! (TINI) Looking forward to meeting new folks!

Welcome to the forum and to Canopener. Come prepared to eat and socialize. Plenty of both. Good to have more folks from Mississippi attending.

Have you checked out the Buccaneer State Park? They have done a lot of work there fixing the park up from lots of storm damage the last few years.

McCloud Park has been improved too, I second the comment on Buccaneer.

Hmmm, sounds like someone has been reading some old posts! Welcome, it's quite an event and never a dull moment.

We have indeed stayed at Buccaneer once or twice last year. It was very nice and seems like it's great place, especially for ones with kids. I like the front row in Waveland... just a little smaller place. Food is great at the slipper too. Looking forward to our first rally (of any kind) ...so just look for the lost looking couple, cocktails in hand pulling a redbone hound.....and that's us!

Hey Roadtoaster, does Knob Creek work on tar too? ; )

MillertimeUS: Thanks to you and family for service to our country...and sorry we will miss you this year. Safe travels, my friend.

Welcome to all our new attendees. Canopener is a unique rally.....no real rules, just a good time with copious amounts of fellowship, food and beverage.

In the next few months we will begin updating the thread with scheduled events and information to share with you.

Please insure you register on our reservations page (see first page of the thread) so your information is included on our attendees map and you are included in the door prizes.

Absolutely does NOT work for tar removal! Best to save it for the more time consuming jobs, like sippin!

Hi To Dylan and Kathy

Hi Dylan and Kathy,
We are first time attendees of Canopener also. We also have the 25 ft. Flying Cloud (RB) and we love it too! We saw that you are from MS. We plan on making a day trip over to Biloxi after Canopener ends. Tom was born at Keesler Air Force Base. His parents moved back to South Carolina when he was 6 months old. He wanted to make a trip over to Biloxi so that he could say that he visited the town where he was born.

Other than Keesler anything we should plan on seeing while we are in Biloxi?

Hello all, we just signed up, and will be on site #10. Looking forward to seeing lots of AS's and new friends. We just finished our '58 Overlander. The maiden voyage was thru the Rockies and up into Canada. It was a great trip, now looking toward the south for part of the winter at least.
