Will anyone be watching the Saints game on Saturday at 330? We don't have a TV in our AS. Or us there a TV in the club house?

m.hony,

You bet, happy to take a look see. I've worked on plenty of recumbent bikes over the years and one thing is constant about recumbents, they are unique! Adjustments should be simple... should be, but recumbents always add a little challenge!

Luckyducks, I'd be honored to work on any of your bikes. You've done some much putting this rally together, heck, maybe I'll even oil the chain for good measure!

Reading posts about the upcoming rally is getting us anxious to get up there. Pictures look great. We just finished a few days in Flamingo biking and paddling the Everglades (cell service isn't what I'd call up-to-date!). We are meandering our way there.

See you all soon.

Jay

Maybe this looks better...

Most of the sites here look like 145. Keep in mind this used to be an RV resort before it became a state park, so you will find this is pretty tricked out. The only site that seems to be problematic is site 118 - some unusual sounds emanating, but otherwise this is a great place.

It is an original made in Iowa by Kann Manufacturing folding Linear recumbent with an adjustable steering linkage called a "flute tube"- it is an aluminum tube with a series of holes in it for the adjustment.
Peter Schull, aka The Bicycle Man, in New York state may be still manufacturing Linear recumbents. He made a road trip to Iowa to get all the left over parts from Kann Manufacturing. He was still manufacturing Linear recumbents in about 2008.
I'm not sure I will bring it- but maybe- it is too much trouble to fold without getting greasy from that super long chain, so I just put the long wheel base beast in the bed of my pickup diagonally.

Cautiously optimistic regarding the weather as a rainy weekend with 10 bodies in 27' of dry camper just doesn't sound very enjoyable, even with cable TV.

But assuming we make it as planned, we'll probably bring some music equip (guitars, Cajon drum, etc) for some pickin' and grinnin' with anyone who wants to join in Friday evening.

I will also try to bring some pizza, as much as I can.

Hopefully the weekend weather turns out better than current forecast.

Howdy, Ron. I have been watching forecasts too, but whatever will be will be.

I will be bringing a PA system for use at the block party (amplified Mic basically).

I will be there with my guitar also, and look forward to picking and grinning too.

Stan doesn't pick but I've seen him grin (I have also seen him grimace when I play, but that's a different issue). I hope he might stop by too.

Phil

It is 6 degrees here this morning. 60 is going to feel like a major heat wave. Baring problems, we will roll in early afternoon Wednesday.

I've got our blinking lights out now with a clear shot to your window. I had them trim a little of your pampas grass so you could see them better!
Be careful coming down.

Rabbitts won't make it to Topsail 2014

We are so sad that we will not make it to Topsail this weekend as planned. Karen just had an emergency appendectomy and is not up for the 9 hour drive from Tampa. We are bumbed. Hope the weather is great. We will look forward to another event.

I noticed in the picture you posted, there were many extension cords on the ground around the monster. I knew that meant more lights than last year. I hope you don't have a plane try to land again, thinking they are runway lights. I will bring the black out curtains AGAIN.
