A quick question for folks who have attended in the past. I understand there is no ground fires, so I have an above ground fire pit that should work, but were do they want you to set it up? Also would setting it up on cinder blocks be ok? My guess is that they don't want to scorch the grass.

As long as it does not kill the grass, I think you are OK. Some sites have more grass than others but most have some area where you can have a fire.
Thanks for hosting and a family campfire is awesome.

I don't have enough vacation time to come that early.
There are a couple of non Airstream rallies we go to where we are part of the come early and stay late crew.

Great idea. Most of the sites are either grass or concrete (duh), but you may want to bring something to raise your fire pit a little higher so that it does not burn the grass. If I remember correctly, there is a pail near the dumpster for hot coals which you may need since there are not fire rings in each campsite. Either way, sounds like fun!

I'm interested if the shroud will fit the original factory one that came with my 2006 classic. Let me know the measurement & brand name too. Thanks

I have several people interested, so I will try to post here: the shroud is 30" across, about 34" front to back, and about 12" tall, by Dometic (Duo-Therm).

Are there any cable hook-ups? Or is there any place to watch TV at the park? My wife will be devastated if we can't see the NE Patriots play on Saturday night!

Worst comes to worst, come by our place - we will be definitely be watching the Patriots. There is cable at Topsail, but we will have our portable satellite dish with us just in case. This will be a nice ending to a week where Auburn wins the BCS.

Patriots
Thanks for the offer. I'll see if the cable works. And we have conventional TV (Remember that? With an antenna on the roof??) And you are a good option! My wife is a football nut and she loves her Pats. We're from Mass. originally. Now we live in Florida, but we can't get too excited over the FL teams, especially Miami!

Oregon will be represented!
This is going to be quite a treat. We'll be in the area and joining you Friday thru Sunday! This will be only our 2nd rally and by far the biggest! We've spent the last few months traveling across country, visiting family in NE (go Pats! my wife also from MA.) and now in Florida visiting the Everglades with kayaks and bikes.
See you all very soon!

We're looking to get out of Canada for awhile, but it's snowing right now. We will make a dash for it when it lets up this weekend and will see about coming to the rally. Won't make a reservation till we get past the snow line, so may be a last minute entry. I'll let the list know as soon as we hit warmer weather.

Doug and Terry,
Hope you can make it. There should still be some sites at Topsail Hill Preserve.
