hello friends,
we just moved to sunny FL from AZ and are looking forward to our first canopener [2014]. we have reserved spot 124 and will just have to wait out the months 'til then.
btw - what other rallies/get-togethers are happening in FL during 2013? we are in the ormond beach/daytona area and ready to 'stream.

Not sure FL, but you might want to look into Hunting Island (SC) in the fall - http://www.airforums.com/forums/f288...ina-98104.html. Also, Springstream in Hiawassee, GA ( http://www.airforums.com/forums/f288...dge-98401.html) coming up in April. Just a few thoughts, not too far off your trail. I am sure there are others with far more knowledge of FL events.

Glad you're coming to the next Canopener. Welcome!
Two inputs for you on rallies/get togethers in Florida - (1) although not in the rally category, check out the beautiful state and county parks in Florida. We particularly like Ft Desoto County Park in St Petersburg and Anastasia State Park in St Augustine, and (2) there are a number of WBCCI rallies in Florida, but you would have to check the scheduling of those rallies through WBCCI sources.
And to pile on nilesrob's comments, we have gone to the Springstream in Hiawassee, Georgia a number of times. We really had a good time and the area is beautiful. It may be within a day's drive for you.

Rick, hopefully you & JJ can make it over for this one. I need to get in to the dealership and talk to June about a project I have in mind. It seems there is always something that needs to be worked on when you have a vintage Airstream. I was over last week and took a look at the new 23 rear bedroom. Wish I could swing a trade-up but that is going to have to wait a while longer.
