Canopener Map Update 7-15-2013

My contacts at the NSA report loop 103 is now fully reserved for the weekend of January 10-12, 2014. We have 45 official RSVP's, and have updated the map to reflect them. There are 19 reserved sites for which we have not received RSVP's. Apparently some of you are hiding your intentions for now or we have an infiltration of unidentified SOB's crashing the rally.

A Canopener newbie, "tinbender", has now started filling in loop 101. If you haven't yet reserved a site there are still sites available in loop 101 so give tinbender some company.

The updated map with all RSVP's recorded on the official RSVP page as of 9:00 pm EDT this evening appears below. Drumroll please!

Chuck, AWPPC (Wes and Peggy) are in 155. They never post and won't likely RSVP.

Only the good ones. The plastic Kayaks work fine, a good place to find deals on Kayaks is Craigslist. Donna and I use an inflatable because we can carry it in our truck or our boat, many ways exist by which a plastic Kayak can be carried. Since we are straying off topic I have provided a link to a informative thread about Kayaks and Airstreams below.

This Link will bring you to the posts about our inflatable with a video.

I think it would be cool to get one of the aluminum canoes and polish it up to match the AS!

Cool fire set up. Do the camp sites come with a fire ring? I know many fl parks do.

Or should I say, what does each site come with?

The sites do not have fire rings, but the park seems to be ok with self enclosed fire rings. The picture is of Thor, Cauldron of Death, which we fully expect to bring again this year.

Full hookups - electric, water, dumping, picnic table, jacuzzi. Ok, maybe not jacuzzi.
