Hope you all have a warm and wonderful time this year. We are on "baby watch" for grandbaby number 8 (our youngest daughter's first) so we won't be traveling in Jan. Hope to make it the following year 2012!

We had to cancel our reservation, our grandson will be returning from Ohio about then and we have to get him in Kentucky and bring back to Arkansas. Our site was 141, so it is now available for someone else to use. Maybe next year??

Its no rumor. Wes and I (some of you know our friends Wes and Peggy) will be at the clubhouse after dinner Friday night, 8ish maybe. Should have at least 5 different sippin' whiskeys, maybe more. Come on over and share yours, partake in ours, or just witness the spectacle Chief, no Coke allowed! We will have ice, splashin' water and maybe a cracker to cleanse the palate, nothing fancy for sure.

I have been instructed to bring the Bose and Strat so that if we get enough interest, I'll do an hour show at the clubhouse after the pot luck (if I get into the sauce I'll be playing Buddy Holly and Jimmy Buffett). If not I'll curl up in a ball and take a nap after all the good food. I'll also have a fair amount of karaoke tracks for those brave souls that want to launch their music career. We missed last year and are looking forward to seeing everyone again.

Actually, we will have some legal "Shine" for tasting. Some of the distilleries are bottling whiskey fresh from the still, no barrel aging. Pretty stout stuff. It can also be used to shine a vintage trailer
