Potluck site
Looking around it seems the larger sites have all been taken the only one that really is big is the site on #108 it is near the fountain and is very big for everyone. What does everyone think about this spot.We were really crowded in that other one last year and it was a bit tight. This one would be opened up for sure.I do know this is in the front of the campground square but it is the one with the most room. Thanks All.

Sounds great Devoman. That site did seem roomy if I remember right. Eats at one oh ate by the fountain, makes sense to me. 2air, you can coordinate the wet tee contest right from your seat, lol.

Sounds good to me. I can't remember if we have streamers on either side. We might get a little routie for some SOB's if they are in the sites next door.

Steve, the site is roomy but I would be concerned if SOBs are in the surrounding sites. 100 or so people converging on one site would be disruptive to SOBs trying to enjoy their peace. It might be better to get a site at the back with fellow Airstreamers all around the site and use the street as overflow for additional seating. Or, the clubhouse is another alternative without weather (temperature or precipitation) to worry about. It might be good to get the clubhouse reserved anyway for potential musical entertainment.

Sorry, but there was no name on the photo: Is this Ethan?
Or...
Oh nevermind...I assume it is in fact Ethan...
(In my mine, I questioned this some time ago, but never got around to insinuating anything. I mean clarifying. I mean verifying.)

I concur (still). The pavilion was used last year for just a dessert and drink kinda thing while the music was being played. Setting up in the pavilion was great for avoiding any interference from the weather.
Don't know yet whether there will be any music this year, but I am hoping to jam (on guitar, and some vocals if Brad brings the beer again ).

Potluck
I will call the Park tomorrow and see if we can set up the building again.I will also try and pick a good spot for the potluck.I really think being in the back would be great. It keep everything away from the others and the cocktail hour is just around the corner as well.

I enjoyed the music in the Group Club House last year. Even though it is Florida, the nights can get a little on the cool side after the sun sets that time of year. And, well, being Florida, you just never know when it might rain. I know January is the "dry season" but it does happen. My only concern is whether the Club House is big enough. I don't think we could have packed every body in last year. We barely fit everybody into one site when we all sat down to eat for the pot luck and when we went to the dessert, I don't think everybody went.

No kidding. It will be tight if everyone shows up in the clubhouse.
Oh well, once the band starts playing, we can just move the dancing to the tabletops.

Gee, I haven't had a table dance since my bachelor party...ooops, I shouldn't bring that up. It's still a sore spot where the Missus is concerned.

You know there is a very large parking lot in front of the club house. What if we setup there for the pot luck? If the weather is inclimate, we could move inside.
About the music thing, how 'bout I bring a karaoke setup this year. Spanky and I could still do a couple of songs, but others could drink excessively and show their talents. I have about 5000 files.

Am I missing something?
Am I missing something?
Last year there was so much participation, a huge Pot Luck, a boat load of raffle prizes and gracious hosts.
This year, I see 33 trailers registered for the can opener.
Of 33 registered trailers, only one person, Devoman seems to be bringing all the paper and plastic goods?
Of 33 registered trailers, only 5 are contributing to the POT LUCK?
Of 33 registered trailers only 2 are contributing to the Raffle?
Of 33 registered trailers NO ONE has stepped up to host SUNDAY BREAKFAST ?
NO ONE has stepped up to host a HAPPY HOUR ?
