sounds like a double weekend can opener to me but i regret we are one those who are off in another direction at that time and wont be able to make either one. had a great time last year though and hope to make future ones. dont make a big deal over which weekend just enjoy the heck out of both. GOD bless all
Linda and I are booked in site 156. Been booked since February - we're ready.
Steve, let me know if you need anything done or transported over from PCB. If Phil doesn't come this year, we will need someone else to bring lights for the potluck. Not that I have any, just something to keep in mind.
Chief and Roadtoaster, looking forward to having you as neighbors. Greg, I'll post a pic of my Rock Tamers soon - they work great.
Thanks for the reminders. I keep forgetting about the gators, forget every time. A word of caution was in order for those of us Northerners. You know the Muskies are so big they ate all our gators long ago.
But my first trip to Florida several years ago, I traveled across Alligator Alley and stopped at the rest stop and scenic view and walked over to the water to take pictures of the birds and the cool flowers in the water at ground level, stooped down. When I got home and enlarged my pictures guess who was watching, unbeknownst to me and apparently swimming towards me?! I had thought gators all lie in the sun and move real slow like zoo gators.
We're planning on being there (at the CanOpener09)! I am hoping to play some music too, although more jamming, and less accompaniment. We'll be there Saturday late morning, and leave Tuesday (booked on site 146).
Carol, nice picture of the lilly-lined waterfront. For those folks who didn't look closely at your beautiful water scene, here is a portion of your photo:

Late to THIS party, too!!! OK, We're in.. Site 101. This is the 3rd time we've tried to make it. I am determined NOT to cancel this year! No one in the family is sick, and Julie's not pregnant, so I'm out of excuses! ha!
Here's the reason we weren't there last year. I think he was worth it!
Great - One of the argosy family - I was in 145 last year - and again this year. Let me think - Suburban - Kids - dogs - maybe a cat or two? I think the can opener was one of your first forum rallies. I'm pleased you will be my neighbor once again.

I borrowed your vise grips for the loose exhaust pipe on the Travelall. We arrived a little "louder" than expected. I have put a set of grips in the truck since then.
We have no kids, but we do travel with 3 dogs and 1 cat. I think you are remembering MrMossyOne and family. Hopefully they will attend again.
Remember, I will gladly entertain your yellow lab for hours at a time while sitting around a campfire.
"Block 140" is shaping up to be a repeat of last year's participants.

Please remember to add your name to the rally calender at the front of the page and post you site #.This will be so you are able to get a name badge for you and the family. Thanks Everyone.
Also the whole park is opened to the rally and not just a certain area. Most are in the squared area but the outside spots are just as great. The loops are very shaded and the other areas are a bit more open.
I am looking at the campground online for the 9th and 10th.I am trying to find the best spot for the potluck. What do you all think about site #108?
It is at the entrance and near the fountain but has a very large area to fit everyone.
Maybe we can use the fountain for a centerpiece! Who needs ice sculptures, though a fountain of chocolate for fondue would make a great dessert.
I know we had the gas fires, is there any fire pit for a group fire on the premises?
