We should be pulling in some time on Wednesday. I have been looking forward to this for a year! Last year was such a good time, I can't wait. This is just what I need after the holiday rush.

After a great New Year's with Airstreaming friends at Myrtle Beach, we decided to change our reservations today too. Heading out of Myrtle Beach in the AM, spending one night at Laura S. Walker State Park in Georgia (near the swamp and the gators ), then into Topsail Monday.

I'm just loving the beach these days. See y'all then.

Signed up for rally for the first time. Is there a schedule for the rally anywhere? Need to know what to prepare for. Have heard how great this rally is!!

Wow. We change arrival plans and so does the weather. Now a possibility of rain Saturday and Sunday. Hope for the best and plan for the worst. Seems like I remember the first Can Opener it rained most of Saturday morning. Still had a great time. And we will this time too.

Not sure there is a real schedule other than open house Saturday afternoon, happy hour a little later and potluck Saturday evening. Usually there are one of more groups that eat at the Red Bar Friday night. Just wander around and talk to folks, you will be invited to more than you have time for.

Are pets allowed? Website is unclear on this. I just want to bring 2 horses, a donkey, two dogs and a cat.

How late can you check in? Wife wants to come in Friday night, I want to come in earlier during the day.

They didn't say anything about our 3 dogs and 1 cat last year so I think you are okay with the dogs and cat in the campground. Pets are not allowed on the beach.

I know several attendees have arrived VERY late previously without any issues, so that should not be a problem.

Leave the cat at home.......

All animals on a leash, none are allowed on the beach (VERY STRICT). We had our little dog in our arms and were warned.

Late check is after 10pm may require some sort of arraingement. They lock the gates I think at 10pm. You may want to call ahead.
