Is there anyone allergic to anything in food that we should know.maybe some little signs would help out if anyone can not eat certain items like nuts and shellfish,etc,etc,.If I remember a few people did this.There will be a lot of people here again this new year so we dont want anyone getting sick.

I salute this idea for other reasons.

If items were identified the line would move a bit faster as people would not have to take that moment to decide what was in front of them.

And it would save me some time when I start looking for the contributor to get the recipe.

Might be a good idea to have a few copies of the recipes with the dish also. We would be glad to have some ready with ours..

Things get mover around on the table so how about the site number on the dish name tag and hopefully the tag will stay with the dish.

We are having a schedule conflict at present. We brought Lucy to Jacksonville for Thanksgiving. Since we were planning to return for Christmas, we left Lucy there in Daddy's yard. We're heading back to Jacksonville tomorrow for Christmas, and returning here on the 26th. As we have another commitment in Orlando in mid January, we may leave Lucy in Jacksonville.

The bottom line is that we will be in Santa Rosa Beach during the Can Opener, but Lucy may not be. This is why we have not registered for the rally yet. We would still like to come by the rally, even if we don't have Lucy to bring and camp in.

I will go ahead and add our names to the attending list so that we can get name tags if that's OK. We just don't know yet whether we will be camping with y'all.

Steve, your suggestion that everyone put little signs by their food dish is a great idea. From my experience at the CanOpener last year, the lights weren't the best to always decipher what the food item was and I happen to be married to someone who is allergic to shellfish.
