30/50 amp, sewer, water and TV(96 sat channels) at every site - very nice facilities and a great tram ride to the beach. This park is one of the best.

Wait till you all see it now.They have been doing a lot of upgrades with the new entrance.It should be done by the end of this year or so they say the due date is anyways.

That's not entirely correct.

Blackwater River State Park near Milton (25 miles east of Pensacola) just completed redoing all of their campsites. They are all now electric/water/sewer, and they really did bang up job on the sites. Blackwater River SP also has a really nice white sand beach on the river.

Grayton Beach State Park (6 miles east of Topsail) is in the process of adding 25 additional campsites, all of which will have electric/water/sewer. Grayton Beach SP is directly on the ocean with over a mile of one of the nicest unspoiled beaches on the planet.

Adding on-site sewer drops seems to be the new trend in the Florida State Parks.

You don't know how glad I am to hear this! I was unaware that this was being done. It has been a while since I read that Topsail Hill was the only state park with sewer and I don't remember where I read it but I remember it was on-line on one of the "official" state park sites.

We are planning on bringing our bicycles. Are there some good off road bike paths in the area? No problem driving to the start of one if its within 15 miles or so.

Not so sure about the off road aspects of the ride - there is a nice bike/walk/tram trail that is paved to the beach - about a mile long. Remember - this is a sand dune beach area that most of which is protected. There is a nice bike path along the 2-lane road to the town and built up areas that would be a nice ride. Off road trails - I would ask at the front desk - they would know.

I got to wondering, what all types of 'streams will be at the get-together?
Since some attendees list multiple trailers and I don't know which one ya'll are bringin' I just added all of the listed trailers from all of the listed Canners to a spreadsheet and stirred.

The average age of the trailers is 20 years.
The average length is 27 feet.

So who's bringing the 1988 overlander?

The two largest groups are the 24/25 footers and the 30/34's

There are a few of us that are kinda lonely
