Thanks Klattu for the recognition of my Key Lime Pies. They are my favorite and my specialty. Key Lime Pie is also the only pastry/baked good that I know how to make. I will bring a couple for this rally and will print out the recipe for any one who'd like a copy.

Swampbillies, we will have our 7 year old and our 10 year old sons with us. They had a great time last year with the other kids that came. I had touched base with Rich Lhur a couple of months ago and he said he was planning on coming at that time, but I think they will be winding down their full-timing by then so they may or may not be able to attend. If they do, they have a sweet daughter that is about 7 or 8.

We are going back to Top Sail Hill for Labor Day and I can't wait for either this rally or Labor Day Weekend...and that's just 2 days away!

Look forward to seeing some of you guys at the Falluminum and the rest at the Can Opener.

Devoman - we have ours - but if you change the design and put in 2008 - I WANT A NEW ONE for a keepsake. Please.

Devoman, with my request, I surely did not intend to put off the work of the name tags stuff on you this year. You took on so much last year. How can you spread some of the work around this year? I know your tags were great, but took time before and during the rally for you to do. We really can make handmade ones if we have supplies at a central site (I'd offer ours, set up outdoors), or maybe someone else is coming who is into graphics who would volunteer to make them? I'll offer us to make simple print outs of the final map with id's of who is in which site if someone will update the map to the day we take off, probably New Years Day or Jan 2--just off the computer, like in post 64? ~G

I agree. I like the idea of name tags. maps are not necessary. Whe can ask or provide our own.
Even purchased pre-made tags where we fill in our username and site would be just fine. I can get them while I am in Boise if necessary.
I still have mine from last January.

Becky, I am so sorry you can't come play at the second Can Opener, and we wanted to see the sparkle and shine on your polished baby after all your work. However, reality does kick us in the head once in a while, and your family business has to come first. . .BUT, if you decide you can sneak away for a couple days, we could swing by and you could caravan on down and back with us, protection of a sort while on the road. Just an offer of a little temptation! ~G

I'll bet Rebel Beck figures out a way to make it. We will be leaving the Memphis area around 7:00am on Thursday, driving through MS and down through AL. Takes me about 9 hours as I drive no more than 65. Good roads. We could have a nice caravan if it works out logistically.

Site #

Site #163 has been set up as an empty lot for the Potluck and everything else.Sugarfoot has set it up.If you all could please donate a $1.00 or 2 that would be great.
Also we could set up a table on that site that friday so everyone could get there badges and that saturday morning for the late comers.I am assuming there will be Breakfast also going on like the last time.
Maybe setting a time for the potluck would be a good idea.
It gets dark really fast here in the winter and the sun goes down about 4:30 to 5:00 P.M.

I'll put a label on a toothpick in the pudding and a tag on the JD sauce just for you Howie! Recipes can be available on request.

I'd join your caravan if it wasn't way out of my way. Becky, you've GOT to be there. We need to compare polishing experiences and such.

You can do it, you can tow it! Haven't we had this discussion before?

Clancy Boy, you have to pay quadruple . . .
And I'm not telling you when I'm leaving . . .

Hey, what ever happened to that sack of potatoes you "won" last year? Bet they won't fit in my tail pipe now.
