Hey There. It was great seeing you at Henderson that saturday. That park is great isnt it.Everything is nice in there.I forgot to tell you though. There was another Airstreamer in there.I forgot his forum name but he goes on here a lot.He is from St.Louis area.He said he know Soldiermedic I think it is.Really great people. He will not be able to make it down in Jan though since they were down here now.
The Pensacola WBCCI Unit owns a campground near Century FL which is about a 100 miles from Destin. Camping fee is $9 per nite. We will be having a rally there, Mystic Springs Airstream Park, from Dec 28 to 1 Jan. All are welcome.
St Andrews State Park in Panama City is one of our favorites. We have camped there a number of times. The waterfront sites (on the bay) are the most desirable (especially from the middle to the east end of the campground) but overall the campground is very nice. A lot of wooded areas. The beach is a bike ride or long walk away. There are nature trails too.
I understand Henderson Beach State Park in Destin is very nice.
I drove through Grayton Beach State Park recently and it is very small (about 30 sites). A few of the sites are on a lake. A short bike ride to the beach. The beach at all these campgrounds (as all of northwest Florida) are beautiful with sugary white sand and clear water.
Check out the Florida State Park website for more information.

We would stay at Henderson SP in a heart beat: sites are left "natural" rather than being super groomed like at TopSail; each site is tucked in privately, which gives the impression (we had, driving by) of being well separated from other campers. The sites look as though you are camping in dunes, which you are! ~G
