I may be remembering incorrectly, but I thought last year we couldn't get the club house because we didn't pay a fee or deposit in advance and they wouldn't let us have it at the last minute or someone it had been reserved without a deposit and another group reserved it out from under us because there was no money exchanged or something.
I'll be glad to pitch in if that's what is needed. I'll even send it in advance if whoever has it reserved needs the money before we get there...just let me know.

Club House
Ok...I just talk to the Topsail people to double checkon what we had to do and it is already registered for fri and sat.We just need to get the keys on Friday morning and Debbie has it setup to do this.
Thank You Debbie.
There are no fees involved and they do know we are going to be there. So everything is a go on the club house.

Not correct, I had it all set last year in the event of bad weather, the park was very accommodating.

Club House
When I had went up there to the office last year. They would not give me the key and told me that I was to late to have them. The thing was though was that I found out that I was talking to the wrong person also and the desk person working was just filling in at the time so he did not really know what was going on.This year we just have to make sure we get the keys in the morning on Friday so that we have them.Debbie already set it up so I am pretty sure she will be handling that so no worries.

The park was very very nice when I called. Come to find out, I went to Brokers school with the son in law of the lady making the reservation. Anyway, we have the clubhouse if we need it. I will pick up the keys on Friday morning.
We are going to have an open house on Saturday aren't we? I want to see inside all the beautiful airstreams. Can't wait to see what every one looks like! Will we need to bring balloons or anything like at the other rally?

Sorry, my misunderstanding. I just remember some kind of mix-up. Nice of them to let us use it rent free!

We will miss seeing everyone again and meeting the new! Ya'll have fun and think about us at least once.

Artstream, that's what I like about this group. Hate that you can't be there, but.....I know you will enjoy Topsail and the rally. If you are up this way, we are having another SpringStream the 2nd weekend of April at Hiawassee, GA.

Talk about musical Airstreams! We need a contest after everyone checks in: Who can best ID which Airstreams are docked in which sites? Maybe some double dog dares for the best attempt! I know I'm confused So sorry, Kathy, that we'll miss you this rally. ~G

I was keeping a low profile hoping no one would notice the fact that I was just across the street from pot luck. I have always prided myself in never be second in a chow line.

I see I'm going to have to get there a little early for the pot luck to get in with these guys around......
Just a couple of weeks off and we are already looking at the pot luck event - I can say from past experience there will be plenty to go around, but just in case....... an early start to the feast would be a good thing.

Oh Kathy, I'm going to miss seeing you and Ruth.
I don't think we're going to make it to the Springstream this year so it may be a while before we see you again.
Take care 'till we see you next time!

Site # 51 moved to Site #119
Since some a couple sites were opening up (both sites that were A/S reserved and other RV) I also did a swap and moved from the other loop in closer to the larger herd.
So who ever has the map, please move Dave & Shari Wagner from site #51 over to site # 119.
19' Bambi arriving Thurs Jan 3rd from Laurel MD and leaving Sunday Jan 6th for Key West.
Can't wait.... They are calling for 1-4 inches snow, sleet, & freezing rain here tomorrow...
best regards, Dave & Shari

No worries there though.I have enough take out boxes for everyone to use so the food might actually be gone at the end of the feast.

I'll update the map when someone new arrives...
From now on, if you move to a new site, you add an item to the Pot Luck/Raffle lists, and update the map.
Is this the Site of Music?
I almost dread seeing a new post to this thread...
We'll just find out where Julie Andrews is in a couple of weeks.

Temps
Ok everyone.Temps are running in the 50's today and will be in the 30's at night. We have freeze warnings but that the best part about living on the beach. It never really freezes on the coast.Always inland.
This should last a couple of nights and jump back to the 70's again here soon so no worries. It will be warm again.
For me though this really cold weather.
