Dang, A LOT can happen here on the FORUMS if you miss a few days. I went to the RALLY list to sign up, and my name was already there. Guess that means I will HAVE to attend. I'll be on site 160. Looking forward to seeing everyone in October for "my" birthday rally.
They have a shuttle to the beach. a short walk on the beach is better than none at all! For ever excuse I will have a responce. ;-)

We are signed up and on the list. We are in site 154. Since we will be getting in late Friday night, again, I wanted the same pull through so I reserved that site a couple of months ago. Looks like we will be neighbors Klattu!

I was already on the list also. We will be in 125. I am so excited, this is my first forum rally! My music partner reserved site 123 also. He just picked up his new baby, a 1970 Caravel on Sunday. He hasn't even had time to join the forum yet. But I told him sites are going fast!

Didn't realize you owned that site when I reserved it back in Feb. We don't have a SOB, but perhaps that's not how you meant it. We are also not unamerican, I served in the US Air Force for 4 years from '69 thru '72 and was a police officer for 25 years, you might also recall the US flag flying from a very high, yellow pole on site 157 last year. As far as scum, get to know us (and others) before deciding something like that. So feel free to visit us during the rally, you know where we are.
That was a pretty strong reaction for someone else reserving a site you once, temporarily occuppied, whether they be a SOB or not.

Nobody owns the sites in a State Park. If you remember from January 2007, some of the Some Other Brand owners joined in on our fun. We're all going to this rally just to have fun with our fellow countrymen and Airstreamers--maybe more fun than we had in January 2007, who knows.
In January 2007 we were on a corner pretty far from all the action. For 2008 we picked a site closer to the action (at least where it was) and in an area we checked out when we were there last. I just found the attendance list from January 2007, and it turns out, we're on the site that katzklaw had.
All the sites in that loop are really nice, just reserve one and look forward to the change of scenery if you can't get your old spot.
