I was already on the list also. We will be in 125. I am so excited, this is my first forum rally! My music partner reserved site 123 also. He just picked up his new baby, a 1970 Caravel on Sunday. He hasn't even had time to join the forum yet. But I told him sites are going fast!

Music partner? I know you said duo, and want to know what
instruments you play, and more about your music (country for you and rock for him?).

I guess I am just mixed up

Ha, I laugh to myself as I sit at the computer typing while listening to an eclectic list of MP3s: Always and Forever (Heatwave), Jet Airliner (Steve Miller), Jumper (Third Eye Blind), Keep Your Hands to Yourself (Georgia Satellites), Low Spark of High Heeled Boys (Traffic).

Looking forward to camping, meeting rally-goers and hopefully touring some other trailers.

I hope to play music as well (I play rhythym guitar; Gibson Les Paul Custom electric, or Gibson B-25 12 string acoustic).

Well, I listen to opposite ends of the spectrum. On the radio I listen to Contemporary Christian. On my Ipod I listen to a little Cont. Christian but mostly Jimmy Buffett. That's all I have in our Airstream named "Changes in Latitudes".

Yes you do.

By: Jimmy Buffett

1975
Chorus:
My head hurts, my feet stink, and I don't love Jesus (oh my lordy it's that...)
It's that kind of mornin'
Really was that kind of night
Tryin' to tell myself that my condition is improvin'
And if I don't die by Thursday I'll be roarin' Friday night

I was 25 in 75 and just out of the Navy and Vietnam, sure made more sense then.

SIRIUS 31 Radio Margaritaville is where I get my Buffett Fix.

the canopener band

I was told by swampbillies it was time i chimed in. (stratman - 1970 caravel). We play music for the old farts here in central florida (which i'm nearly one of) and i can't remember the last time anyone requested buffet. If anyone's up for a jam, i'm in. I play lead guitar and a little keyboard and swambillies and i both sing. i don't mind hauling my stuff up there if we'll use it. i use sequences for our professional gigs, but i'd be up for sitting around the campfire and playing my ovation with anyone else who wants to play or sing.

Canopener Band? Got a Rally Song?

Here's something to practice on...
Remember the tune to Get Ready?
Here are the Temptations at work:
=

Get Ready... to rally

Never met a group could make me ‘stream the way that you do.
(You're all right)

Whenever I’m asked what makes an Airstream real, I tell ‘em we do.
(You’re outta sight)
Well ZipDee dee, ZipDee dum, look out Bambi ‘cause here we come.

Bringin’ you a rally that’s cool, get ready, get ready
Start makin’ it shine for you, get ready, get ready

Get ready, ‘cause here we come …. on our way

You wanna play with love on wheels, let me remind ya
Nothing you’re gonna miss, take the time to come and find us.
(You're outta sight).
FeFi FoFum, Look out Bambi cause here we come

Bringin’ you a rally that’s cool, get ready, get ready
Start makin’ it shine for you, get ready, get ready

Get ready, ‘cause here we come …. on our way

If all my friends want to see inside, its an open house
(You're all right)

Hope I get in line ahead of you, the food’s a blast.
(You’re outta sight)
Well ZipDee dee, ZipDee dum, look out Bambi ‘cause here we come.

Bringin’ you a rally that’s cool, get ready, get ready
Start makin’ it shine for you, get ready, get ready

Get ready, ‘cause here we come …. on our way….

Get ready, cause here we come.
Get ready, cause here we come!
