Just to the right as you parked to check in - by the main entrance. You were probably looking at the reception building and did not look to the right.

It was about 10pm when we pulled in.

Klattu, I'm teasing you. I had unfair advantage of staying longer and then walking around after the rally. There was so many people to meet and visit with and things to do it went by in a blink of an eye! I hope our Friday this year doesn't have the deluge we had last year. I also got in Thursday night right through the tropical storm warnings that you must have also been listening to. Actually who found me lost and escorted me in from down the road, KPosey? and some others, which I thank you very much for!

What day are you arriving for the rally, GT1963. We are driving over on Thusrday and can easily time our trip to go by Mobile - which is a larger regional AP, to pick someone up. We are only 3 hours (at the most) from Topsail so a detour to the AP is no big issue.

Whow - a fly in rally go'er. Next year we may have a polished DC-3 show up.

Wow!! what a generous offer.

I had originally planned for the 3 - 8 but if Peter can come out for 2 weeks instead of one then we may be rebooking if the site is available. And/or find somewhere nice to do a New Years bash...

Carol, you are right about 108; it does face the fountain. We stayed in 110 over Labor Day and low and behold, a couple from our town of Fayetteville were in 108. We had never met them but started talking to them and they mentioned where they were from. Anyway, the curb side of that side is wide open and faces the fountain as your photo of Healthchick's Airstream shows. It is great for the sun exposure in the winter and it is a pull-through, too.

Klattu did sneak in under cover. We woke up Friday morning and found them across from us.

Wheel Interested, glad to have been of service. Anything for a fellow Airstream nut...oh, um...person...no, um...enthusiaist. Yea, that's it! I thought you did very well to make it from Michigan and not get lost until you got to Destin!

On that note, if you do a mapquest or google for the directions, remember there is a Top Sail RV Park that is actually a place to buy and work on campers, not the state park!

What are L & L's -(I live in a box and don't know these things) - Soon I will be living in Aluminum for a spell - and I hear it transmits smart cells directly through the antenna - but I don't have one on the LadyBug - so I will still be in the dark....
