Since Klattu was kind enough to show the layout, I figured out where we are. We took 155, home of an SOB last year. Friends, AWPPC, are in 153. Arrive Thursday afternoon and leave Monday. I'm not missing breakfast this time.

Can Opener
Ok everyone....I was planning on setting this one up on the 1st of Sept.I think keeping this thread is good to do instead of making another one.It could confuse a lot of people.I also have the same site as before #162.I think this one will be a good one also hopefully.Quite a few people have been e-mailing me about it over the months.Even after they got home from the first one.I will be needing a lot of help from anyone like the last time.I liked it when everyone was involved in one way or another.And remember...I did not do this all alone.All I did was make the first post.
This year though I dont really think I will be doing name badges and maps.In the end it took a lot of time to do so I will just leave it be and go simple.I do have to admit though that it did help a lot but with the next one coming up it seems most of the same people will be coming with some new faces so we will know pretty much most everyone.
I am ready for the next one so see you all there.It will be great to see everyone again.I will be seeing some of you all earlier though at the Falluminum Rally.

We'll try to make it - have to figure out schedules. If we do make it, I think this year we'll stay on the paved roads to get there.

It was really fun to do it.I think it will be a whole lot easier this time.A lot of people helped out in organizing it also so It was not just me who did this.
I think a lot more new faces will show up at this one also.
This is it everyone.It's a go.I am really excited about this one also.
It has been a while since I have been on here with the summer and all.Lot of working and no time to play.Now that the slow season is here I can catch up on a lot of things.

It is good to see this thread growing with popularity like it did last year.We also had booked a site in February in preparation for the 2008 Canopener but we had to change our reservation to this Thanksgiving cause we found out in July that the DW is expecting and her due date is in January. So we will miss seeing all of you and hope to plan on the 2009 Canopener. I am sure you all will have lots of fun like last year. Davis
