We picked the back site because it's out of the way. But we can host as many as want to come by, behind these sites if open a little - maybe enough for a movie.

I don't think that map is really to scale. I don't think there was really that big a gap. Last year Nilesrob set up the movie in that area and it was a campsite that was not occupied. Now maybe, for some reason, it was an "unusable" campsite and that is why it was empty - I don't remember - I just seem to remember there being one there, slab and all. One nice thing about using the back row for a movie or just "sound" is if you face it to the woods there would be less chance of disturbing others in the campground and thus less chance of a complaint.

Are any of the sites on the back row still available? If so, we could call the Campground office and request a change of site from the pot luck site to the back row site. I don't think the park charges if you do it with them directly, but Reserve America will charge $10.

Santart, There is a pot luck sign-up, but I can't locate the post with it on it just yet. I have to go to a meeting now, but I'll look for it later.

We are hosting a BYOB cocktail party at our site on #154 on Saturday. The time hasn't been set, but it will either be at 4:00 or 5:00 (just before or just after setting up the pot luck).

the gap on the back row is about 3 campsites wide....

trees and dunes and other vegetation. it really isn't usable space.

a last minute cancelation resulted in the vacant site/movie theater slot last year.

ideal because it had juice and faced AWAY from the mass/camping...

there is a gazebo over near the 'gator lake' with power....

ideal for a musicians gig, but it's 300 feet from this camping cove...

there might be complaints or issues about music/movies up closer to the front and with other campers around...

but i doubt it.

really great park should be a wonderful rally again.

Just wanted to give you all something to look at.Here is a pic of what you all will be getting when you come down here.Some of you all already know how the sunsets look hear but for all the new arrivals in this area here is a taste of what it can look like at sunset.This was taken yesterday evening.

It's all subjective. You see it every day so for you any picture that crops off the full view just won't cut it. For us, this picture means a new keyboard because of all the drewl........
