You hit your reply button while I was making the map with thecatsandi's state. The map went away because I deleted that post and re-created the map with your state on it while you were hitting the reply button again. We are playing tit-for-tat on the replies it would seem!

What about the rally calender sign up page.By clicking on each name you can see where they are from.It would be a bit of work though but probably a little easier than doing the copy paste thing.This is a great idea.It will let us all see where everyone is coming from and how far.

This is the map from another thread that contains a link to this web site: Visited States Map. I filled in the states and saved it and each time a state is added I save the new map over the old file and just upload it to the new post with the new state and attendee added to the list. I don't know of another way of doing this that might be more efficient or more automatic. If there is any body that knows of a better way just let me know. Until then, I'll revise the map and post again as I have time during work and each evening. I just thought it might be neat to see where every body is coming from. I know there are some folks from New York and Michigan and other states that are pretty far away in addition to Montana (wow Michelle, you may be coming the farthest!), but I am going to let every one add themselves to the list so I don't leave any body out.

Even if your state is already on the map, add your name and state you are from to the list so we can get an idea which states will have the most folks attending. I will periodically sort the list so we can have all of the folks from the same state listed together so they can find each other easily.

Devoman, that may ultimately be easier. I'll have to sit down and devote some time to it. The list is sorted by alias, but could easily be sorted by state if the state is added before the name when the list is transferred to the post with the state. Shouldn't take too long. I'll try that when I get home tonight if it isn't too late when I get home and Becki isn't using the computer for a school project.
