I wonder if winter is coming to New England - of course my heating bills are a heck of a lot better than they were last year at this time.

Nope, we do not geocach. Will be packing and hitching up tomorrow morning. Plan to tow the Bambi to Normandy Farms early tomorrow afternoon and then return home. Hopefully, we'll beat the small amount of snow expected for tomorrow PM. Our children and grandchild are visiting in Boston so we want to spend Saturday night with them. Will return to Normandy Farms on Sunday for the New Year's festivities. Looking forward to seeing you both then.

Up 'til 9 PM hitching up trailer. Up at 6:30 AM loading trailer. Snow starts falling. Check updated forecast. Snow this morning/afternoon. Snow freezing rain for the return trip on Monday. RATS! RATS! DOUBLE RATS! Sorry. Had to cancel .
Been through this before. Where we are, it's hard getting out of here, but harder (usually impossible) getting home if conditions are poor. We haven't always escaped unscathed.

Yep, this is why Leon and I decided to go to our little vacation home instead of booking New Years weekend at Normandy Farms. We live in the "mountains" and would need to deal with some steep climbs. Also didn't want to get any salt on "The Tube".

Sorry guys....that's a bummer. Stream looks nice surrounded by the fresh snow...better to keep it that way safe and sound at home.

We just took the batteries out of ours yesterday and I swear it had an effect on me...I felt like I was taking the out of it...no more lights, no more music to hang out and listen to....
