It appears that the second weekend in January (8th & 9th and possibly Thursday the 7th) seems like the best possibility for the most people. If I have read this thread correctly (no guarantees there) everyone who has responded so far can make it except for the TIMES who are still a definite maybe so we will twist their arms and make sure they come too.
We also have the nrrr coming up in Feb. so earlier in Jan. is better than later for those of us who need to be home occasionally.
Kevbo has graciously volunteered to call Jalama tomorrow AM and grab the group site if it is available.
All newbies (and their families, friends, and pets) are always welcome.
So how many of us say "yes" to:
Jalama, January 10, 11, 12, 2008, for a winter rally (theme to be decided) ??
Sincerely,
J. Louise
(friend of Wanda and cousin of Bam-not a relation of the TIME/Goins family)

Ok, the projected rally dates are Thursday January 10 thru Saturday January 12, departing Sunday January 13? Did I get it right?
And these dates are subject to availability at Jalama as first choice, with Kevbo being the appointed caller to Jalama reservations?
So tomorrow, we will know if it is a firm deal, right?
Since the Times are in different time zones today, we would appreciate the kindness of the gate keeper to give us until tomorrow to confirm our beloved commitment to the California Streamers Winter Rally of 2008.
Time ("mark it Zero" for today)

Young man of little memory. NO, we can't wait for after the fall rally to decide and make reservations for next years Summer Rally. Remember our choices when we waited to long this year....right...Gorman....not complaining...just looking for a new theme for 2008.
The California Streamers Summer Rally of 2008 will be in a cool place with water close enough to hit it with a rock.....yes it will...no shut out in 2008. Summer is always the hardest time to get reservations, lets do it early.
just my opinion.

I was just thinking about our poor brother airstreamer who was upset, a few weeks ago, about the 3 word games that he kept finding on the portal page. Wait until he opens it and sees California Streamer Rallys from now until 2013 filling the page. But I agree, earlier is better.

Thank you for your support o' wise one(s) from Tujunga. Maybe we can start a California Streamers Word Game...or not? (Just kidding, guy who doesn't like word games).
str8s...I think it is your turn to guide us into a heavenly location for the Summer of 2008....you always seem to know where to park the Three-Forty-Five Party Wagon. If another thread is too daring, maybe we can do it "back channel" as the Kevbo would say.

Well, we did do last year's ntrrr and that turned out pretty good. We'll see what we can come up with. Are you sure it's our turn?

Thank you, thank you.
I defer my answer to your question regarding being sure to a higher authority....can't wait to see the results of your fine research, followed by your superior negotiating skills.

The Times like it, make our vote a yes. Good work by the Debster.
By the way, the official California Streamers Rally Rules (CSRR) allow thread hijacking of a Rally thread to propagate and encourage the start of discussions of a new Rally prior to the starting of an individual thread for the purpose of communicating between current, past and future participants.

summer rally '08
vail lake is a great place for a rally. i even met kip there with my SOB vintage group (one of). can be very hot there (really hot).
summer rally sounds good.
i can't make this week, my general manager is on vacation (the bugger), however please scope out the area.
all in all, i'm in for '08.
the drive there can also suck. time the traffic carefully.
