I called up Vail today to make reservations for next Saturday the 24th just one nite, before going on to Tucson, AZ...but changed my mind..they wanted $100 for the one nite!..said they were going to have entertainment....maybe by next Jan..it'll go down?..how much is it for the mlk weekend?
So instead, Steve and I will stay at Lake Elsinor, then move on to Cactus Country near Tucson, AZ for the week till we come back..

codybear,

the cost for mlk weekend is $45 weeknight, & $55 weekend.
Check that out with their office, and let them know that you are with Cal Streamer Group.

have a safe and fun trip next week.

We don't have a working stove, kitchen sink, or curtains yet...but we have reserved space #79. Looking forward to meeting you all. Try not to laugh too hard at us, as this will be our very first camping experience aboard our '84 Sovereign. (I kinda noticed that the rest of you have nice new rigs – maybe it’s best that we are on the outskirts.)
We’ll be bringing our 3 year old girl, Riley the poodle, and a case of wine. Beyond that we’ll need to improvise.
Any other requirements, like pink flamingos?

You'll fit in just fine.

No requirement at all to party with us, but the case of wine you are bringing will bring you many friends.

Not all of us have new units, there will be a few vintage among us as well, so don't worry. We are all learning as we camp, and I am sure you will find some answers to your questions in regards to restoration.

We all love kids and furkids as well. TimCan has a cute little boy, Gabriel, so your daughter will have friend to play with. As for cooking, you can use our stove/kitchen sink anytime.

Welcome to our family of fun! Have a great holiday.

BTW, will you be arriving on Thursday or Friday?

Here's the list:

Tincrew - #50
Rowco - Larry & Teresa - #66
Babee and The Child Team Whine Tasters - #67 - Thursday
Famous Couple - agents #007 & #99, one doggie, site = #68
Deadhead58 - Karen = #69

Terrygaines - Terry the shy one and Judy - #74
GlennG - Glenn, Nancy, Sweetheart the (dog) #75
Excella 3287 - Kip & Monica = #76
Safari-Rick and Suni - #77
lovemy55 - with daughter and Riley (the poodle) - #79

Hey Time,
Do you, or anyone of you other land lovers know who has space #78? That's between me #77 and LoveMY55? #79 Hopefully, it's not a SOB!

Welcome

Hi LoveMy55!

Finally another San Diego streamer! This is a really fun group, no one will make fun of your rig-you'll probably just get lots of ideas. Really looking forward to rallying with you.

Leslie

Thank you one and all for making our family feel welcome. Hey Timemachine, we have the kitchen countertop in now and the stove is rebuilt and should work. Thank you for the offer! Don't worry, we think our shower and toilet work.
I called to confirm that we indeed had space 79. They said that they think someone from our "group" with the last name of Kasey has #78.
Cheers,
Chris, Susie and Samantha (and Riley: woof!)

That seals it. Gabe saw the beautiful little lady in LoveMy55 and insisted that we attend the rally. Mom is wearing her wine tasting thing-a-ma-jig around her neck already. If disco Rick spins the vinyl, maybe Gabe and Samantha can do some Sonny and Cher tunes.

As the obscure South Bronx philosopher (and transient) Johnny High Pockets memorialized, "...the true quality of a wine depends on how easy it is to unscrew the cap." Thanks for the purrrrr.....
