join the new NorCal/California Streamers group site

I have created a NorCal/California Streamers group website on yahoo. I stole the idea from the Georgia Airstreamers. We could use it for our own special forum which would make it easier to plan spur of the moment get-togethers. We could also post all our rally pics there and keep it as the official rally picture album.

Please join the group at The NorCal/ Cal Streamers Rally Group

Sierra would be much more possible for a summer weekend rally although Tahoe may be problematic. I know that the 49er RV Ranch in the gold country hosts many popular rallies so maybe they would have space for us. I'll search for more possibilities.

It's Offcial now

Place:

Pyramid Lake RV Park

Dates:

Fri July 20th through Sun. July 22nd

Price:

$22.00 per night

Reservations:

Call the Park at 661-248-0100. Tell them you are with Cal Streamers-Brown. They will take your payment and give you a space.

We have a square made from the far right side of the last two rows. So the party can last as long as you can.

General info:

The Park is on Interstate 5 in the Grapevine near the town of Gorman. It is on the border of Southern and Central Cal. So it's five hours from Sacramento or San Diego. Coastal folks can take several passes from the 101 to the 5.

It is above the snow line so the temps should be pleasant.

Needs:

An official Rally Greeter/Trailer Wrangler. Any volunteers?

Woohoo let the games begin!!

One Rally one thread.

We are booked

OK,

Looks as though we have a time and place...good job Goin camping. The back row (spaces 57-70) are back-ins and can fit 50' easy. The middle row (spaces 95-102) are 60' pull throughs.

To view the facilities map go to their website an click on "online reservations", but make your reservations via phone to make sure you get with the group (California Streamers). So far they have blocked 22 spaces for us, so let's fill em up. This rally is a forum rally and everybody is welcome.

They spaces are all 25' wide with full hook ups and free wifi.

California Streamers Summer Rally, start your engine.

Space# 61

We have requested space #61. str8strm, glad to see you are gonna be our anchor...guess where the party is gonna be? That big ol space 102 looks like party central to me, away from early bedtime folks.

It seems the morning is the best time to book a reservation when Sung is managing the phone at the reservation desk.

Where is Bam, Kevbo, DG and all the usual suspects?

John

Exactly why did the word "suspects" come to mind with those three...?
