Goin,

Where do you think he got the Cohibas from to begin with?

My secret stash for our next get together...now I have to find a safer spot.

Ron,

Of course, you are the "in" crowd, Cohiba's waiting...

Assuming it doesn't turn into a heat wave, we're looking at 90-95 degrees. (oh... it's dry heat!) LOL.

Nothing that a swimming pool and a cold Margie ball can't fix. Yes, it will be warm.

San Simeon State Park is just a mile or two outside of Cambria, CA. Hearst Castle, Morro Bay & San Luis Obispo are all within a 40 min. drive. San Simeon's upper campground, Washburn, is great if you are self-contained (no hookups), but great views, hiking, etc. Picnic tables, fire pits, piped water and vault toilets (kept very clean). The lower campground has limited number of hookups, but coin showers and flush toilets. We prefer Washburn for the more spacious campsites.

Escape Pod,

1,2&3 were too far North and 4&5 could not take us as a group. We could not find any beach spots.

Are you going to join us at the rally? I hope so we love meeting new friends.

It was 85 there today with a great breeze. Actually very comfortable plus of course they have the pool and every site has a water hose so if we bring balloons we can have water fights.

And there is a rumor that someone is bringing an adult "Slip n' Slide", meaning that there will be a margi-ball at each end. The good news is that the during the nightime activity we will not need arctic coats, in fact t-shirts and shorts will be comfortable...and isnt nightime when we have all the fun?

Next year we will plan ahead and be sure to get a real coastal campground.
