Piece of cake.

Hit the surplus store and get three liferafts. The kind where you pull the rip cord and the raft self inflates.

Using the Handymans secret weapon (Duct tape) Attach the rafts evenly to the bottom of your airstream. Then run the rip cords into the trailer. You don't want to deploy the anti submersion device too soon.

Get an outboard motor and attach to the rear bumper. Run control lines up each side of your unit and in through the windows.

Now when DG's helicopter drop or Kevbo's brother unloads a C 130 sized water balloon. Run into your trailer. You surf the tidal wave until you hit the lake. As you are surfing down the boat ramp you reach out your rear window and pull start the motor. When you hit the lake surface you pull your rip cords and viola it's ahoy matey and your under way.

See, its just that easy.

On another note...

I've noticed that I've lost a few rivets on the Airstreams interior.

*Pauses...waits for the inevitable "screws loose" jokes...then continues...*

But seriously folks I stopped by the dealer and picked up a handful of rivets. (I didn't have the trailer with me) Is anyone packing a rivet gun who could bring it to the rally and allow me to borrow it? And perhaps give me a several hour tutorial on the proper technique?

Thanks!

At first I thought "yeah sure, John". Then I re-read your response. Okay, "clean comeback". Got it. Good decision. Ron

Hi, Goin camping. If you read it once, you read it a thousand times, "Don't mount anything on the rear bumper."

Taxi to Departure!

Last seen leaving 1 oscar 3 at the crack of dawn yesterday. Coffee cup reloaded with lattee and a few french vanilla Creme de Pirouline's. Milo reports Dyna beads install are seeming to provide a smoother ride! and his H1000 was still in the pickup when he left! DG

I would not jump to conclusions....besides, as my financial consultant, Ed has proven he is good with numbers.....my portfolio under his watchful eye continues to soar.

Ed dresses better too, you won't catch him in an undersized t-shirt.

Time w/ special hello from TT.

Ben swears he found that T-shirt at 29 Palms near a big yellow truck. He says fit doesn't matter when a dog needs to keep warm.

Ben is a snappy dresser as we found out at the 29 Palms Rally.
However Ed is no slouch either.
He does know how to dress to impress the ladies.
Here he is sporting his tie at the Women's Rally...
