there is no wifi in the rv park. if you would like wifi, drive 1 mile into town. park in the city lot, and steal it, like everyone else (i did last year, everyone does it)
or
if you have a cell phone w/ a tethered modem, you can surf at your camp site at high speed and beverage whilst doing whatever... that's what i did this year...

leaving simi valley last thursday at 1pm, down the 118, up hwy 14 the back way was 60, 65, 70, 75 all the way...
coming home this sunday at 1:45pm was 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 all the way till where the 14 meets the 5. it backed WAY UP because of the truck tunnel being closed. i took the Balboa exit and cut over to the 118 west, then str8 to simi valley.
others could cut off onto the 210 towards pasadena
or
stay over till monday
and take ur time going home w/o traffic.
i think i might just lay over an extra day...

We (five fire engines) came home from Arrowhead via 210/134/101 on Monday afternoon/evening. Traffic was much lighter than I expected. There was one spot where we had to stop due to a vehicle accident.
I assume this to be a better route after the fire in the Hwy 5 truck tunnel. ?? I would normally take either 118 or 126 going west from the 5.

It is gonna be a "no holds barred" kinda rally, and we are up for it!
I understand there is a chance that we will be visited by Burt, and he may be bringing his Trans Am. Either way, it is very important that we all make him feel welcome, and whatever you do, keep him away from the margi-ball.
As for the final five, I am expecting great things, don't let me down, be prepared to stay up. NOTE: We are still interviewing for a final six member.

The door here has been pounding for about an hour.....maybe it is the flashing orange LED lights that are attracting the goblins..lots of really good costumes this year....
