Greetings from the shy ones

First let me thank all of you for the great welcome, we are really looking foward to meeting everyone, you all sound like you love to have a good time, so do we. I've been told that I'm the shy one not my wife, by the way she likes to be call Judi, when I call her wife it kinda sets he off. I hope every thing goes well on this trip because we are already signed up for the winter one, and we are in the middle of the group (space 74). We would love to bring something to the pot luck please give us some ideas, Kevbo10, I checked with IN+out they are booked that weekend, sorry.

Hi Terry and Judi, thank you for your vote of confidence with our group, I hope we don't disappoint you two. Based on Safari-Rick action after his first rally in July, (signed up for all three upcoming rallies), I believe that's a good indication, but again, he might be just as twisted. And of course, we will love you two even more when food and drink are presented...BTW, animal companions are more than welcome...including but not limited to cats, dogs, reptile friends, chimps, peeps, and limas (especially for Kevbo).

P.S. And if you feel brave, please check out the Notreallyarallyrally in Feb at San Clemente.
Here's the link: http://www.airforums.com/forums/f290...lly-34929.html
If you are interested, we have a site open right now next to party central on the bluff with ocean view (boondock site) and is reserved for us. Just PM me or Kevbo for details.

Hey, Terri and Judy. Bring whatever you want and do whatever you want. This is truly a very low key high laughter group.

All we pretty much do is goof off and have many levels of fun. At the Summer Rally we had a miniture golf tournement and made a Nuclear fusion device. Worked pretty well too.

You'll also meet Big Dee who has killer Rallies in Central and Northern Ca. Trust me you want in on those too.

Word to the wise. Don't go bar hoppin with Kevbo unless you really need an adrenaline rush that lasts for hours.

See you two in Kernville.

Rudy (as far as you know)

Well its raining so I'm going out to the trailer to see if I can hear the rain on my tin roof.

Kev, Was out in the Tin Cabn and disaster struck! There was only one shot of Patron left in the bottle. Yipes!

Yes John, The Airstream is being washed. With virtually no effort on my part.

Now Uwe, Even a Metal Head such as yourself can appreciate the romance and soul soothing sounds of rain on a tin roof. Can't you?

The seasons changed...

The seasons changed in Kernville last week. We've gotten our first touch of autumn, though we know this is always the pattern: a teaser of coolness and rain, then another couple weeks of hot. (It will be back up to the mid-80s by the middle of next week.) The cottonwoods are starting to yellow. Snow level is up around 7000, so though we know the tips of the Sierra got some, we can't see any from here. Autumn migratory patterns are visible -- we had a tree full of Western Tanagers yesterday, in their winter plumage. There's a fly fishing tournament happening today, right in my back yard; I imagine some of the contestants will be at Rivernook, that being a pretty good place to catch the troutses. It's quite idyllic here at the moment. Early November is going to be quite beautiful, I forecast.

Ahhhhhh.

Sounds lovely.

Maybe I'll go sit in my 'stream and pretend the water rushing down the hill in the gutter is actually a trout filled river...
