I think after all the partying we might be doing Friday, a late breakfast (brunch) on Saturday would be in good order..I can sleep in till at least 7!!!
If anyone would like to bring a table just in case we need places to put food on that would be helpful..we'll bring ours..does anyone have a big coffeemaker they could share?

We'll be arriving on Thursday, Margi ball in tow. Maybe a crab dish for the potluck. Bam, do you do crab? Also, don't forget Mickey the Cat will be in attendance. As you can see, he's highly perturbed that he wasn't mentioned earlier.

So if I got this right... (Throwing down phone book sized rally guide.)
Fri. night is Happy Hour.
Sat. Early and late Potluck western style with a twist followed by Burt and a elongated happy Hour. Corn holing. (new folks it's not what you think.) I have omitted Kareoke for the public good.
Sun. Glenn G (If thats his real name.) and his 42 cup plasma machine.
I'm sure I've left out 20 or 30 things.
Yep, Sounds like on of our soiree's.

Hello all! I'm a brand new newbie here...and as it happens, we live about a third of the time in Kernville, so seeing this rally is a pleasant surprise.
What's the ritual/protocol for people who actually live where a rally is taking place? "Provide vast quantities of alcohol" seems to be on the list somewhere...
I note that the announcement mentions a "cool dive cowboy bar / restaurant". If that's referring to Ewing's, it's had a change of hands and style; it still does live music, but it's not really a cowboy bar anymore, nor really much of a dive. The food has improved dramatically; however, the prices are quite high for Kernville; they're about average for Las Vegas. Food's worth it, though, and the bar (which is now kinda Polynesian themed) makes damn good drinks. But don't go expecting all the cowboy memorabilia; they disposed of all of that. (We bought the murals.)

Hi jp and welcome in.
If your bringing your trailer all the info is in post #1.
If your joining in without your trailer. You can do that too.
It's very common for folks who can't camp to come by and join the party.
Either way you are more than welcome. More folks = more fun.
Bring your lawn chairs. There never seems to be extra ones.
Looking forward to seeing you there.
Rudy

So sorry about the slight Mickey.
Please don't be upset. Ed doesn't like to talk about cats much although he is warming up to TT so you may be next. He did bond with you at Casini if ever so briefly. He will be bringing some cat treats to try to make it up to you.
Food bribes always work for Ed anyway.
Come to think of it...food works very well for this entire group...
