Here's a campground map for reference.
It's a really large campground, but many sites are for Full Timer's, or tents.
Most of us book in the 400's, or along Beaver Creek.
Sites in the Premium Pull Throughs have full hook ups with sewer, and rest are water/electric/TV. There is a dump station on site.
Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.
Until then, Happy Camping Airstreamers!

As I said in our confirmation note, last year the Watkins took a completely random walk and it turned out to be fabulous. We happened up a very old trail that lead to the Western access to Sequoia. We would to do the walk again and for all that are interested. Here is a description of the original pony trail.
This route was forged by the Kaweah Colonists, a utopian socialist group intent on filing several claims to land in the Giant Forest. Built mainly with hand tools, this road led to a site near the old Colony Mill Ranger Station, where a portable sawmill was erected. In 1890, the establishment of Sequoia National Park thwarted the Colonists’ plans. Thirteen years later, the route was extended to the Giant Forest by the U.S. Cavalry and served as the first road into the park until 1926, when the Generals Highway opened. It is now used as a hiking trail

Be creative! There are a lot of good ideas on Pintrest. And YES! There will be prizes!
The scheduled events are:
Thursday - Dinner at the Pizza Barn 6:30 pm
Friday - Meet and Greet, bring Appetizers to share and BYOB 5:00 pm
Saturday - The Big Pot Luck Dinner and Pumpkin Contest 5:00 pm
Some Pumpkin examples from years past:

Remember Scott and Becky in a FB27 ? We used to do the Kernville rally until life interfered. Well I never forgot you guys and am hopefully coming back to streaming. Yay! Since the 27FB was too big for just me and my poodle Heidi I sold it and got a 16' beautifully restored Caravelle. I hope to join you guys at the rally but have to arrive Sat and leave Sun so just the potluck and reconnect a little. Still trying to figure how to navigate (forum, backing into camp spots with one axle, life, etc)

That is awesome Becky! I was wondering about you and glad to see you rebound. It will be fun to see you and Heidi again. I know Wilson, our Labrador, would like to see Heidi as well! This pic of the two of them was from the Geode Rally a few years back that Barbie took. There will be plenty of folks at the rally to help with your new rig too!

Becky! That's great news! Kevin and I think of you often. We saw your Ocean Breeze last time we were at Uwe's. So glad to hear that you are coming to join us. It will be great to see you!
I'm sure that if you need anything at all you will have more than enough volunteers.

Good news! Rivernook now has new owners, and new management!
They are working hard to make improvement to the campground.
If you leave a message you will get a call back. And they are working on new software so that someday soon reservations can be made online. All great news for us!
So today you can start booking for the 2016 ~Kernville 10~ Rally.
Dates are October 20-23 2016.

The Watkins & Dillon's are booked into sites 427 and 428 for 2016. Talked to a girl/women this morning who was very friendly, accommodating, and efficient. Perhaps that is the start of the new face?

For anyone thinking about coming to Rivernook Rally, the campground still has some sites available. Four backing up to the creek, and at least one premium pull through.
Time for some glamping fun!

Dinner
Hi everyone. We have been here since Sunday. No fish. Weather good and projected to stay dry. Bears in area as they were forced south due to fires. No sightings. Flyers from James source of warnings.
Dinner was chili for us too but can switch to salad if need be.

Sad that we won't see you Becky. But next year is October 20th.
We added a rally at Calico Ghost Town February 4th too if that would work out for you, we'd love to see your new trailer.

Well, I'm making pumpkin chili and I'm experimenting on you all, so it may be good to have a back up batch of real chili!
