Are there any scheduled activities like potlucks, or should we plan on fending for ourselves and bringing some beverages to share?

Yay, Candice!

Hold down the fort, I'm checking out until the 23rd!
Thanks & see you soon...

Kristina,
Thanks. Your neck of Ca is easier to get to than SO Cal. I usually have to pick up I-80 to get into CA with any certainty.

You're hired!

Hi Barbie,

Would you like to nominate yourself for potluck organizer?

That would be great!

I'm literally leaving for the airport now...

Did anyone get my email list?

Thanks & see you soon!

Hi Barbie ~ the Silver Sisters rally last March was pretty laid back. There was no "official" potluck, but I'd swear the picnic table was magic..... food and bevvies just kept appearing for all to share!! Though, if you'd like to take the reigns on something more organized, please do

We usually have a Saturday night potluck and most of the time it's a free for all.
Bring whatever you want to share with no sign up lists needed.
It always seems to work out well.

Other meals we often bring our own plates outside and eat together.

Cocktails and snacks somehow spontaneously show up most evenings for happy hour.

It's a very casual and friendly group and we always end up with more food then we can eat.

Come one, come all!

Hey Janet, Cat, Meredith, Virginia, Deborah, Evie et al. Where are ya?
Maybe some of the So Cal group could caravan together.

Any newbies out there? This is a great group to start out rallying with.

Everyone is welcome!

Gosh, darn, dang, shoot, it looks like its going to rain and snow on our parade (camping) Airstream Rally.

I'm really bummed, cause if it is or does, I will not be able to make it. This Silver Sister does not like to drive in Rain, Snow, Sleet or Hail....

Will wait till the last day (Wed or Thursday to say for sure) cause I sure hate to miss out on seeing all of you..........

The long range forecast from weather underground looks like it's stormy this weekend but tapers off during the week. It doesn't report past Thursday, so we'll have to see.

Maybe we'll see you after all!

As for Burning Man, keep an eye out for a rally thread and listing on the rally calendar. I'll be there with DH and the two (college age) kids.

I also hate to be a fair weather camper, but will not be attending Colma in the rain.
Hope to next time.

Ditto here, and I'll have my dinette cushion covers finally finished (that's a promise!) so we can hang out inside if we get a downpour.

Bring a favorite board game, just in case?

The 10 day weather forecast for Coloma says rain every day from now through next weekend.

CA Silver Sisters Rally Cancelled.

Hey Silver Sisters and potential Silver Sisters....just got an email from Kristiana
and unfortunately she is having to call for a "raincheck" for our rally next weekend.

Hopefully we can just postpone our plans and reschedule for another time with better weather.

She will give us an update when she returns from her trip.

See you all soon in sunnier weather!

Hello Ladies!
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it sounds like this rally is officially rained out
I don't know at this point if it'll be rescheduled or not. Kristiana is on her way back from Nepal as we speak (type...), but based on the weather forecast this seemed like the best decision. BUMMER!!
I hope to see you all soon..... maybe in the sunshine
