Yee haw! Count me in!
The past few months have been a crazy flurry of activities - time to come up for some air! I can't wait to camp in my ol' girl again, it's been too long. Anyone else free that weekend?

Thanks for the reminder bump! I can do that weekend too, and will make a res. tomorrow. Is it time to start a thread and calendarize?
Bam, there's no way we can do this without you, so get that escape plan worked out so you can at least visit for a couple of hours.
Can't wait to see everyone!

Making it written in stone....
Alright now... let's get the full information out there...
WHEN?
WHERE?
WHO TO CALL FOR RESERVATIONS?
I'll be bringing either Dana or Evie... or Sandra if her Buddha isn't ready!
Sandra gets first DIBS!!! Let me know before I get the others' hopes up!
Getting 'jazzed'... I just bought a new replacement stove/cooker by SMEV so I'll be able to make some brownies or somethin... or.... maybe just 'admire' it....

This is already fun.
I just called Pismo Coast Village (not Pismo Sands) and spoke to Marsha.
This was the info. I gave her:
Our dates: March 6-8
Area: I requested the north side with west end spots (thanks Excella3287) so that we could be clustered around a common area. All are back-in (sorry Paula!) with tables and fire pits.
Although we can't reserve specific sites, we can request them, and she said that looks like a good weekend for getting what we want.
So if this sounds good to everyone, she recommended that
one person gets everyone's (real) name and rig size, and calls to make the reservation.
Within 10 days of the res., each camper calls with their individual payment.
Pismo Coast Village: 888-7823224.
Pismo Coast Village RV Resort
The rate is $42/night. For groups of 10 or more it drops to $36.
If this sounds good to everyone, post or pm me with your name and rig size and I'll do the deed.
See you soon!
I just added the rally on the March calendar, and if you click on it, there's an RSVP space for comments where you could also put your name and trailer size.

Yay! So far we have rsvps from Airdrmr, Kristiana, and Towster. Looking forward to hearing from the rest of you.
And guess who I ran (or rather, walked...) into today? The above mentioned and appreciated Excella 3287! We were doing our regular stroll at Seacliff Beach-- as always hoping for an Airstream glimpse--and came upon two, side by side (coincidence.) We always hope for a sighting and often stop to say hello, so it was much fun to find that the friendly Excella couple were not only Forum folks, but also had been in my post this very morning! They're having a nice time galavanting up the coast, and we'll make a point of seeing them again at O-wine-thirty one of these evenings. I think Monica could be talked into a "drop-off" with that pretty silver at Pismo.

That is wild, the magnetic Airstream connection. How auspicious for the new year.
Yes, Monica needs to join us indeed!
Thanks for taking care of the details, Miss Janet!

So I am looking for the right job. I have some contacts I am pursuing but not much it happening.

Ladies,
Looks like I am going to have to skip this year. I have my new house to set up. I settled yesterday on a house in Missoula and I an still in Florida. My trailer is still at the factory.
Have fun and I will see you next year. I hope. I signed up for a welding program. Hopefully we get spring break.

Pismo
Hello Sistas~
This would be my first Silver Sisters Rally! I am going to check the dates. I would be coming from Phoenix, haven't been to Pismo yet. It's been on my list of places to go and I can't think of a better excuse.

Welcome aboard, Julianne! We hope you can join us. The journey from Phoenix is a long haul, but this rally will be worth it. Such an amazing group of ladies, a beeeeautiful location, and all that silver - what could be better?!
Cheers,

Yes, 540 miles from my door to the Resort, would break it up by staying overnight on the way down and back home. Would also probably stay in the area for a little bit, see what kind of trouble I can find. Being from Seattle and landlocked now I would love some time by the ocean.
Hard to resist the shiny silver and a rally with the ladies.

I put notice of this event on the http://www.airforums.com/forums/f288...tml#post654540
Hopefully, some of our girls missing in action will take note and sign up. Most of that thread is populated by Southern Calif. residents. Is there a similar thread for the NorCal folks that we might post this on? I would hate for some of our Silver Sisters to miss out because they didn't see the thread.

Pismo coast village
Hi, Pismo Coast Village is a great place. We were there last month. [December 2008] Back in spaces are mostly large and easy to get into. [except for a few on the north edge]

Yay, the intrepid Julianne has joined us! Safe travels with your tribe, Julianne.
Towster, thanks for spreading the news. No "rally planning" thread for the NorCal crew, but I hope those many fabulous women are checking this thread...they are an amazing group, and all would be oh so welcome.
And Bob, thanks for posting those great pictures--they're the perfect enticement! Of course you know your lovely wife is an honorary Silver Sister, and it would be so nice to see her again.
For anyone who decides to sign on after tomorrow: Just call and tell them you want to be with the rally, and they'll do their best to make it happen.
Cheers,

Surf, sand & silver sisters!
The tribe are great travelers and will be so happy to frolic in the ocean how ever cold it may be!
