a sista caravan...good idea!

Welcome back, Laurel! I was wondering why you were being so shy... Hope your trip was wandaful!

Oh, I love, love, LOVE the caravan idea. Pismo would be my farthest solo tow also, so being wedged in between some sistah silver for the drive sounds good to me .

I think Pismo Coast Village might work for our group. The sites are a bit close together and there IS a lot of pavement, but that could work in our favor after happy hour at Kristiana's trailer. Ha ha.

Hi Paula!

How's our super-grandma doing? I'm looking forward to camping with you again, so I'm crossing my fingers that your trailer is ready. Don't stress out about driving solo. We just want you with us, no matter how you have to get to the rally! I had Jack follow me in his car and help me get settled into my campsite on my first solo. And, even though I hitched up and drove to my second rally by myself, he drove up on the last day to spot me while I hitched up and drove home. Baby steps, that's my motto. Whatever it takes to get you there!

Cheers,

No doubt in my mind that Paula can pull this off...And welcome back to the country, Bam Wanderer! Please bring all photos and stories for us vicarious traveler types. I can't wait to see you all again. Meredith, thanks for getting this going. I'm signing up for any options, but that weekend works well for me and my cheerleader (daughter) belles. I can't believe I'm actually borrowing a Kristiana pendant and and A/S t-shirt from my girls for the Jackson NorCal Rally. Nothing like passing on the love of tubular aluminum...
Happy trails to all.

Just an FYI...
I checked the Pismo Coast Village RV site and the rates are $42 per night
with a 2 night minimum on the weekends. Does that work?

We could probably get a block of pull through sites if we reserve early enough.
Do we have dates yet?

Our proposed dates were March 13-15. According to the map that I have of Pismo Coast Village, it looks like there are only 2 pull-throughs (#s 38 and 39). (Unless I'm reading it wrong.) It would be great if we could get reservations at that end of the park - the sites are more spacious and beach access is easier. I've also stayed in the other end - the 300's - it's crowded and you've got to be pretty tolerant of your neighbors' habits - and like whatever they are watching on TV.

'The Child' and I will definitely attend...!

Hey Sista's! I'm looking forward to bringing my new/old '63 Globetrotter to this rally! I know that the Good Doctor Sandra Beddor is planning on coming as well...even tho she'll be aluminum 'tent' camping in her 'Buddha Girl'!

So does anyone have the info on how to make the reservations, telephone number maybe someone in the office who can help keep us all together?

Debra and Dana (now seriously shopping for the proper attire!)

Dates still flexible?

Any chance of moving the date up one weekend to the 6-7 th of March? And finding a place with more pull throughs than 2? My husband has a conference in Las Vegas that conflicts with the next 2 weekend either for assistance in getting me to the rally and/or he wants to take the Airstream to Las Vegas during that time that would intrude on the next 2 weekends................let me know....and, yes, Meredith, I am still into grandmothering big time.......they are so much fun!!!! Thanks for asking. I really want to join you all. paula

I'm really looking forward to seeing the new rigs all tricked out.
Congrats on the new babies ladies!

And do caravan north sisters. It's not as hard as you may think.
If you can drive, you can tow. Just take it slow and steady.
You can do it!

Should we take a poll?

Maybe we throw up a poll to determine the best date...whattya think? I've never started a poll before, but I could give it a try!

Choose your favorite date - the poll is up!

Ok girls, we have the location, now we just need the date! The poll is up, so, choose your favorite date and let's get this party started!

Vote early, and often - poll closes in 10 days, on October 9th.

Cheerio!
