Thanks to all the usual culprits, and all the first-timers! Most especially Meredith the amazing. You made this yet another gathering full of warmth, fun, and acceptance. The wonderful talents you bring is just awe-inspiring. This group not only has talent, it has artists who stand alone in their fields. What a gift to be with them. Kristiana, Meredith, Julianne, thank you so much for being so generous with your gifts. And if Karin had been able to play for us, the sighs would have hushed the campground. And Debra--well, you're in such an impressive realm. I keep fantasizing about asking you to do portraits of our daughters. You rock.
Oh and Virginia, of course I don't intend to diminish those martini makin' skills! Holy smokes...
You made us all feel so welcome, including the darling daughters.
We missed you Michelle! And Paula--get ready for the next one. And of course dear Laurel you were sorely missed and I'm so glad you got to spend some time with the blond bombshells and that you ended the rally on a perfect note.

So I just had to post a couple of pictures of the puppy I adopted from the local animal shelter the weekend of our rally. We named her Cricket. We've had her a few days now and she's just a doll.

Thanks Debra and Kristiana for accompanying me to the shelter. Maybe Cricket can be an honorary mascot at a future Silver Sisters rally someday - she's a great traveler and even likes to ride in the basket of my bike.

Hello all my Silver Sisters! That time of year again to start planning our spring rally. Most of you are busy with holiday gatherings, work, children (egads) and such, so I am willing to take the lead and get this party started.

So here we go with a few questions:

Is everyone happy with Pismo Beach RV Park again?

What about dates? I am not slick enough to know how to do a fancy poll on here. Which weekend in March is best for everyone?

Please just let me know what needs to be done so we can have another great rally and I will do it!

Hi Julianne, and fellow Silver Sisters! How I've missed you all. Julianne, thanks for taking the lead on our 2010 rally. I am SO in.

I loved the Pismo campground and would camp there again if that's what the girls want. I am also open to exploring new campgrounds too. Paso Robles RV Park sounded fun. It's close to many lovely wineries and fun antique shops (my two favorite pastimes....) My traveling distances/times are limited to about 4 days, however. Any longer and I get grief from the spouse who's stuck at home pulling double duty. Ah, parenthood.

Regarding dates, my kids birthdays are the first week of March, so I'd wish for the weekend of March 20 or March 27 to avoid any potential conflicts.

So, whataya say girls?!
