Well, darnit, Kristiana...we will miss the heck out of you, our dear founding silver sista...

...but, how nice to have two fun gal-bonding weekends to have to choose from - it's a win-win for you! Please keep in touch and help get the silver sister rally wheels grinding for a summer/fall rally later this year. I'll be the first to sign up.

Cheerios,

Oh no, Kristiana, not having you with us is not a good thing! But at least you have a solid excuse, and with all this new snow, you're going to have a blast!

And Karin: Hooray!

When you make the site exchange you'll have to use each other's full names, since that's how their computer knows us. The "Silver Sister's" or "Airstream Rally" references don't work with all the folks that answer the phone, helpful tho they are... (You might even have to use my name, since I called in the original list.)

Happy trails (even those made in fresh powder) to all!

Pismo Beach site

So much to do!
And then there's that staring-at-the-surf-all-day thing. My favorite.

Oh, Janet, you read my mind. I agree, a healthy dose of surf watching is in order. Being idle is one of my favorite pastimes .

The wineries sound nice too....I'd be up for a picnic lunch at an Edna Valley winery (Wolff sounds oh so very nice....or Per Bacco Cellars...can you say reeee-laxing?) Sounds like they are pretty close to where we are camping. Here's the Edna Valley winery map for your perusal.

We'll miss you Kristiana!!! So next year for sure?
.... the wine tasting might be hit a bit harder this year with a little less elbow jousting at the bar! I hope that Julianne will show us some of her crochet secrets? I think I saw a really cute purse in a photo somewhere....
I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the Silva Sistas and the 'New Ones'...

Hello Ladies~
Just got the news it is going to be a $400 repair on my Airstream fridge, ouch, but getting it done. Wil have her back just in time to pack and go.
Starring at the surf sounds like heaven to me! So does winery trips, will probably do plenty of that. Going to have to make room to bring home a case or two.

Debra~ I will bring some of my pretty knit things along, no worries there.

I also discovered a place I want to stay for a bit after the rally down in Lompoc at Jalama Beach. They don't take reservations so I am going to scoot by and see about getting in on Sunday or Monday.

Sisters,

Whew, I had a momentary lapse in reason. What was I thinking?!
Ever since I hit that "post reply" button, I've been mopin' around, dreaming about hitting the road and hanging with the silver sisters crew.
I need my shot of aluminum! I'm back in. I'm sorry for the temporary loss of sanity

(My Lotus sisters understand that I have aluminum fever & promised a rain check on the mountain).

Karin, you can hang in my camping spot anytime. Mi trailer es su trailer, baby.

Can't wait!

Kristiana

Okay, Karin. Yes, as close as possible!

Oh, by the way... did I mention I'm on the wagon? (What a brilliant new year's resolution. Not!). Yes, you lucky ducks have a designated driver!

Kristiana, that's the spirit! Our crew was also a bit mopey at the news.
Don't forget the bling!
Are we going to have a trade/giveaway table for those little trailer extras that are a little too extra?

Yessssss! Great News!

Ohmigosh - YEAH Kristiana! I was doing my share of moping too, because an official silver sister pajama bike parade would just not be right without ya! [taking my black arm-band off now .]

Janet, I have quite a few little trailer goodies to bring for a sista swap n' shop. And, I need to make some space for some "new" trailer stuff, so let's do it! I treasure some fun stuff I aquired last year - in fact, your PB pillows still look lovely in my living room!

And, Julianne has knit pretties? What fun!

Oh, I just hardly wait.

Also, I have a stack of good paperbacks I'd love to exchange.

Ooh good idea, V. I'll bring some too. No such thing as a bad book exchange. Or martini tasting...
By the way, are there any cyclist among you? Daughter wants to do a road ride (20mi.or so) and mother doesn't want her to go it alone.
Just checking...
