We've checked into the Motherlode Motel in Placerville for some R & R and Detox. It's not easy becoming Rally Junkies. The hearty welcome, abundant good humor and out-of-this-world camp cooks...well...we'll manage somehow!!
We had a blast. You are all funny people...and if laughter is the best medicine we've OD'd two weekends in a row!! You just can't beat a gaggle of Californians in a herd of silver trailers, (that one's for Steve Surviverman). So, are we invited back? Go on...
It is absolutely beautiful here in Gold Country. Anybody know of a cool campground with amenities up here? We've come to pick up the Silver Streak...and man oh man....she is a beaut!!!! We want to test camp her for a couple of weeks, and I can't think of a finer location.
O.K. for now...there is a big bathtub in this Motherlode and she's callin' my name...Katy....Katy....Katy....(David and the Big Poo too).
w) we can't wipe the smiles off our faces...maybe the bath will help.

Hey Ron...it is everything the previous owner described and more. They left all the brand new dishes, bath towels, sheets. They had the place professionally cleaned and dry cleaned curtains, bedspreads yadayada....
Our moment of reckoning is approaching....David, (not me... you understand I just give instructions**giggle), has to tow this very long long trailer to somewhere...YIKES. Little aluminum angels on our shoulders.....K
