Actually we will be coming from Bellflower this time but we know the 14 very well so that will be the route we will take. Thanks, pj
ms paula,
even coming form C&G, the hwy 14 route is the sweet spot.
if anyone coming from los angeles is so inclined...
stop around Red Rock Canyon for a picnic. the scenery is to die for, and most likely will come up as a canidate for a winter rally spot.
perhaps TimeMachine could do a drive-by of the camp ground and have a detailed report prepared for the business meeting i've prepared in beautiful downtown kernville...

pretty ugly, it is the curved rear section--I will be talking to our mechanic this am to let them know. They had to do a lot of manuevering to get it in their lot. It only caught the panel, not the bumper or gray locker area--argh! Debbie

It looks like what ever it hit or was hit by left it signature on your panel. You may want to snoop around the lot where it is stored and see if you can locate the other object based on these marks.
B.C. Is now over as we load up the last AS here at the beach. Kernville here as come!
Str8s, sorry to hear about the dent. Although I wasn't looking for it, I did not notice anything at B.C.

Despite the weather turned, the wind picked up, and we got drizzled on a little bit, the party must go on!
It was great meeting Deadhead58 and her friend this weekend (not to mention, her delicious offering for the potluck...crabmeat stuffed mushroom, yum).Hope we didn't scare her off (and please bring more next time, I mean stuffed mushroom). Although without the "cruise director" and "the highly paid greeter", the group were able to maintain sanity, though not without tempting insanity at some point of time.
The saturday night potlulck was delicious as usual and the champagne kept pouring. Robertsunrus (Bob and Lee) came down to the party and brought some delicious treat to the potluck table. They were among the final 6 when we dreadfully called it a night at 2:30 in the morning. What a trooper! Of course, Mr. Goin' and the usual three amigos (Time, thelma & mr. Str8) were there as well.
Here's some of the highlight:

Would the a panel off the free to a home Argosy Moho in San Diego fit the Str8stream?
That was an Argosy, and I could not even guess whether or not it would fit.
Argosy MoHos used galvanized end caps, and possibly other galvanized parts. Plus it's painted. I'd say not a good idea.
If the panel in question is straight vertically, ( not a compound panel, but just metal bent to make the curve) then replacement wouldn't be a problem. Just takes a decent sized straight aluminum Alcrad sheet, with clear coat on it. If it is indeed a compound curved panel, then it would require ordering it from Airstream, in my opinion.
Don't look now, there seems to be something furry on TIME'S chin.
The furry on his chin was Time's desperate attempt to look apart from his bro, Uwe.
The furry he's holding however, was not a decoration, nor a fashion statement.
