Cachuma Lake Recreation Area
HC 59, Highway 154
Santa Barbara CA 93105
Recorded info: (805)686-5054
(Lots of info...they even tell you how to spell "Cachuma")
There are 2 hour "Eagle Cruises" offered on the weekend if you want to hear nature talk. $15/per Smurf.
Camping is $25/night for full hookups.
We (Women's Rally) stayed in the Barona area with full hookups.
Seemed like a nice area...anyone have other thoughts?
There is a store, snack shop/grill, gas station, nature center, laundromat, and boat launch etc. within the campground.
There is a group area for 32-100 peeps but I think our family will be smaller and probably okay to wing it. There are no reservations and it's all first come first serve.
Check out the maps. Planners feel free to organize. I only organize social events. I like to wing it.
That's all I know.
Regards and rally on,

I really, really, really, hope to know a very nice couple with a new house near San Felipe by spring. We could have a heck of a party!
Home grown baja friends Ron and Debbie tossed in with the German tour guide Uwe would make a Mexico trip very inviting for the timid travelers of the California Streamers. After all, it is Baja CALIFORNIA.

Only a fool would miss this one....or a working stiff. Neither of which we plan to be by then. To paraphrase Ms. Smith: Ya AND Hoo.
