Thanks Teke (you told us it's usually you, not Al). Suddenly our 107 feels pretty good. Ron
No way, 107 in Tujunga? Palm Springs OK, but Tujunga, that is cooking.

Tell me about it. Luckily it's a coool 90 inside. Mmmm good. Now that the Dodgers won, mercifully, I'll try going outside and sitting in the shade with the misters on (that's a water feature, not some form of manly underwear). A cool beverage will soon follow. Ron

Wow. That's still pretty darn hot.
The heat wave has broken here.
I actually had to wear a jacket to go for a walk this morning.
It's a little brisk out even as we speak.
*ducks as people start throwing things*
I'd also like to hear a little more about that manly underwear thing Mr. str8.
Are they available yet in stores?

My mind is aglow with whirling, transient nodes of thought careening through a cosmic vapor of invention.
If I wasn't so proud of my 0% warning count, I could give you a really good answer to that question.

Who will be in charge of directing parking to the roof for our rally? I will call tomorrow for reservations. paula
Paula,
If your not joking... We don't have a rally there yet. I'll drive over there in the next few days to see if we can fit and if we can then we'll start the process of making the Petersen folks think it's a great idea.
Actually, I am not sure if it should be a virtual rally or what but Uwe suggested after October....let's check it out. paula

That was indeed very poetic Mr. Str8.
We can only hope to imagine those careening cosmic vapors.
And I'm sure we are all truly disappointed not to hear your really good answer

On the Petersen website it has a Car club Tour Section, take a look at that, says parking is free but that there is no bus parking....but Paula's picture proves out that the lower floor is taller and quite possibly enough height for Airstreams, except maybe the str8s and their gigantic ship.
I would bet that the folks at Petersen would love to have us, especially if we offered our AS's for view during our day event. Remember to use the California Streamers name in the conversations.
