Hi, Zenflyr. I see a rear entrance door; Is this the original front bed model?

They have ordered new light housing, door hinges etc. for me to be installed ASAP.
Apparently the word on the street is that if your seams are beginning to go, you're up that famous creek.

Any word on yours now that it's at the dealer?
Our AS is still at C & G in limbo. As per Rod of C & G, he repeated the same "party line as before, "Airstream's waarranty excludes corrosion and considers it a maintenance issue. In other words, he is not authorized to do jack.He referred me to Jim Parrett at Airstream in Jackson Center of whom I called last Friday to discuss the corrosion problems with our AS. Although pleasant and easy going, it appears that Airstream Corporate is not going to repair the corrosion on our AS. I think all of my AS friends know what I said in return. No final decision yet from Airstream, I have asked for a response to my warranty claim in writing.

Airstreams word is not the final one. Ca. consumer law is. Things like implied warranty, Usability etc.

A conversation with a consumer atty is free.

Are you going to Quartzsite?

Yep Goin....your right on target, the first step is a warranty denial in writing from the manufacturer. That is when you usually see their true colors, can't take em to the gallows without the rope. I am hoping they do the right thing, for all of us who have invested in the AS dream, the corrosion issue can hurt newer AS values if left unsolved.

PM me with any referrals.

Quartzsite will be a last minute call for us, if we have the choice, we will go, we probably won't be sure till that Thursday.

Time,

I called and reseved your spot. You're in E 50. That puts you in the heart of party central.
