Terry are you up from your nap yet?
Debbie, got a calendar?
Any ideas on dates?
First day somewhere on 395?
Goins, got a spot?
Ending up at Crater Lake area for the Bluegrass fest?
Anyone?
I dig big holes....I mean Crater Lake is agreat place
Just lets not make the first night Gorman
3rd or 4th week of July, far enough away from the 4th and hopefully long enough away from now to get reservations when not boondocking (does that mean we would miss the blue grass?)

turtle rock rv park looks fantastic, and they have showers with opposing shower heads on each wall! Prospect RV park also got good reviews and has a Bluegrass festival the second weekend in July, which we could plan for or plan around! Debbie
Debbie, I tried to find more info on festival, how far from Prospect Park is it being held. It might still be a little close to the 4th weekend to miss most of the crowds, but maybe that can't be avoided, we are going in the right direction for sure.
First major destination : Prospect RV park ( arriving frid. the 11, or the following weekend the 18) just outside Crater Lake, lots to do and see.
Second major destination : Turtle rock Rv park,( maybe 3 or 4 days later, It looks like its only about a 3/4 days drive from Prospect, its along the coast, then maybe down into the Redwoods for a few days, how are we doing so far
My Mac is acting up, transposing letters on letters so I could not get all the mileages right but..........for us maybe.....first night near Bishop, second night near Lake Tahoe, third at Alturas, arrive at Crater Lake the next day. Turtle rock RV sounds great and it looks like Bandon Dunes golf course is about an hour from there. Any golfers interested? The stops give us 4-5 hours driving each day with time to see local attractions. We are of course flexible. Debbie

I am writing to Ralph and providing him with his new pen pal's address.
He does have a way with words so look out Kay, love may be in the air soon.
Potential Cousin Bammie

There must be a problem somewhere. This picture of Uncle Ralph, in full flight gear, ended up in my email box. Feel free to pass it on to your mom. He looks like a keeper to me. Just sayin'.......Ron

Nice likeness of the big guy.
Sorry it ended up in your mailbox.
Here's one more
of him as a child.
Heck, by the looks of it, we may already be related!

Hello All. Still have good memories of Cachuma even if I didn't realize there were two AS groups. Just returned from Puerto Penasco, MX where much Ta-kil-ya was consumed.
Re: '55 vs. '56 Chevy. Additionally, I believe '55's had "oval" parking lights/turn signals and '56's were changed to large "rectangles".
Anza-Borego: Anyone interested? Mid to late March could be very interesting. Report states that 1.85 inches of rain fell in January and 3.37 inches have fallen since July. February is one of wetest months. It won't be like 2005, but should be nice!
Trip north on 395: There is an area north of Mammoth (obviously north of Bishop) which is at the Crestview Caltrans maintenance station at Glass Creek Road. Free dry camping on Federal land if you are into such things.
for stopping places going up 395. Anza Borrego has good possibilities for March--do the flowers bloom that early? We are going to San Felipe in April for a blues fiesta--so far 4 trailers and our Moho, if interested send us a PM. Debbie

Maybe y'all should come to Baja with us and call it good. But if that's too far, or scary, how about something up your way? Here are some shots from the Baja RV Park. Sorry, the beach isn't usually this crowded. Ron
