The short answer is no. But where there is a will there is a way. Diagonally across the street is a closed up diner that has a big sign in the window that it is for rent for movies.....when I drive by there, there always seems to be room in the parking lot......don't know how you can contact people in advance...except if I can remember to get a phone number when I drive by there. We have a rental house that we are working on in the neighborhood....also, the LA County Art Museum is across the street, perhaps a call to them might find something. Many of the neighborhoods around this area have restrictive parking so it is very tough to just park on the street...also a call to the museum might help....they do have a pull in area...perhaps that would be allowed for a quick visit....anyone else have any ideas? paula
Hi Paula,
Thanks for the info. I called the meseum. As mentioned in previous post the meseum doesn't have parking for me. I talked with a gal named Mary at the meseum. She is suppose to get back to me regarding the pull thru area that you mentioned. This is turning to be alot of work, trying to find parking and a place to keep the dog for a few hours. I guess we will have to make it work.

Rod does all of my Airstream work over at C&G. (I think I spend too much time bugging him for free advice too).
I told him you said online that you had trouble. He said it was human error. He had called you today and you apologized. Sounded like you hooked your city water line to your black tank flush out instead of your fresh water.
I think we've all done something like that in our Airstream adventures!
I pray that the firefighters are able to get the fires out and California will settle down. Every year it get worse and worse. Fireworks will make things worse if they get out of hand. Please have fun but do it safely this weekend.

what happens whilst camping amongst friends, stays amongst said friends ... ( to paraphrase a little) Debbie
Bam's mantra went out the window when she started raising her hand at every location mentioned while we were polling certain past activities. and since all modesty was abruptly condemed to historical memmories, I guess she believes it is OK to expose innocent celebrative moments in an attempt to misguide others in a path of critical satire.

I must inform you dear friends that there is an issue circulating in our midst.
Formerly our friend Scrappy (ScrapIrony-2) has been our reigning queen
but now there seems to be a challenger for the crown.
Is there an official pageant in our future?
Just asking...
First and foremost...
I do not have the "right stuff" to challenge ScrapIrony for the title. The man is a natural. My Tiara is doffed to him.
Now Bam,
For a woman who raises her hand so often and comments on the things she sees outside her window. ("Not an altogether unpleasant experience.")
I would think that self preservation would inspire you to discretion.
However it did slip that Ron cruelly won't let Debbie have any golf shoes...
