"littered with bassett hounds"

I'd hate to try to say that more than a few times at cocktail hour.

I think I have a parking permit for the festival but I don't know if we are going to go. Probably just kick back and enjoy the Aluminum, Alcohol and Alumni. Just for kicks 22 bucks to get in and that includes the Kenny Logins concert discludes the price of a brew, includes the traffic nightmare to get out.

Hi Rick, how's the dream stream doing? Hope the damage is minor and you can get back on the road soon.

Well, if it's still safe for the road, may be you can meet us at Vail this weekend. They might still have space in the campground, even not the same loop. It's not an official rally, but what different does that make, right?

You know where we'll be, come and join us if you can. We can't promise majestic view as in Yosemite, but we can definitely promise you a good time!

Good luck on your rig!

I cant come to the balloon rally that not a rally cause I am getting ready to take 1 of my trips for the year. I am going to Idaho for a get together of a lot of Sisters. A lot of 60. We are spending a few days, wed. to Mon. at the Ponderosa State Park near McCall. Plan on a lot of wine, antiqueing, wine, hiking, wine, bonfires, wine, Lemon Drop Martinis, fishing and more wine. No, everyone, this is not gay or lesbian group. Not that I have anything against or (not against) anyone that is. You know what I mean, JUST SAYIN!!!!!!!!!!!

Who, me?

It's almost done. Just a few more little touches, like an interior and a little wiring, and you will be off into the sunset....

He makes it sound so simple, I got my 22' Safari last Labor day and I am not even close to being finished with it.
Having a warehouse, tools etc., etc., etc. helps. I work alone also. It will be nice for me, but not as nice as the Ambassador. Pride in self accomplishment is good too.
I am so happy for you Paula and Ed. It is so special. I love it.

Well.....

The weather was absolutely perfect, Mid 80's with a nice cool breeze during the day dropping down to mid 70's during happy hour and dinner, with the night time activities temperature falling off to a pleasant 60 degrees for our typical "Fire Dancer" gathering.

The food was deemed by one of the regulars to be "the best ever".

And my favorite time was when most of the ladies motored away to the wine country in the white Ford driven carefully by Judy. As they were leaving the remaining souls bound together to fill the air with sounds of male glee.

Good news...no arrests, so the bail collection account is still intact.

Pictures coming...

New tires and brakes

Well it's finally done. First it was new tires (Maxxis) then the disc brake upgrade.

The braking power is stunning. It feels like the truck brakes are not required. A added benefit is that the Disc brakes are balanced as are the new shoes.

We're all set for this Summers long distance trips.

As usual anyone who wants to join in is welcome.

First this weekend is a trip to El Mirage Dry Lake.

That will be follwed by a week long trip during the week of July 3rd to Northern Cal and Oregon.

Then in August we'll travel around Ca. and Az. Spending some time at a Buddys 40 acre place near Kingman to watch the Monsoons. The Monsoons rarely reach his property but you can watch the show at a comfortable distance. For those in the know...It's in the Mountains near the Honolulu Club. A favorite spot for International Jet setters.

Mostly boondocking with a few campgrounds to empty/fill and a little luxory.

Ok guys, here are the pictures of the damage done at 55-58 mph on the 405 Sdiego fwy. Final cost was $4,535.72 to replace the whole panel and an additional $180 for tire and rim (not covered) and my deductible of $150.

Hi, Rick. Glad to hear that you got it back together and good as new again. What do you, or Rod, think caused this to happen? was it loose lug nuts or maybe over tightened lug nuts? Was this one of the wheels you had off when your two Marathons went south? And when did Rod move from Bellflower to Paramount?

I'm baaaack!

Hi friends.

I have returned to the US after my wild African adventure.

I visited South Africa, Tanzania, Botswana, and Zambia and met many of the locals...elephants, zebra, giraffes, lions, hyenas, wildebeests, mongoose, kudus, and crocs to name a few. And many of the baboons looked awfully familiar.
Just sayin'...

And for all you flamingo fans...there were thousands.
But darn...none of them wanted to get in my suitcase.

I promise only a few of my 1000 or more photos will grace this thread.

How is everyone?
Rally on,

Bamfrica
