Hola Amigos

We're still here in sunny San Felipe, Baja CA. Found a great RV Park walking distance from the Blues Fiesta in April. It's on the beach! When we get to Vail we can find out who's in. R

Hola str8's.

Will you be able to drag yourself out of the cantina in time to drive to Vail?

Life is tough for you these days...

I'm just glad somebody answered. I thought we had been drummed out of the corp. This place is almost out of tequila, so we are heading home tomorrow. See you Thursday, for sure. R

I think I am qualified to go...I speak fluent tequila.

And as you know Thelma speaks fluent "cantina-ese"

I'll go. I am long overdue for a San Felipe trip. Which campground are you guys thinking? I won't be at Vail, so keep me posted, people!

Hi Uwe,
The Blues Fiesta is going to be on the baseball field near the lighthouse. There is a campground walking distance from there and about 3/4 mile from town, on the beach. Don't have the name in fromt of me now, but I will post it shortly. Depending on their cancellation policy, I will try to hold 4-6 spots until we find out who is in. We will definitely keep you updated. Ron

San Felipe fiesta

The person you book the spots with is in Covina. Their cancellation policy is 10% of your booking --- so if we cancelled it would be $15. We would encourage you to book if you are considering it as it is a small park and we want to have the silver as close to the water as possible so we can have that end of the park to our selves. Here is the link: San Felipe Vacation Rentals and Campgrounds - Playa Bonita - San Felipe, Baja, Mexico We are in the site closest to the water. Debbie

June Temecula Balloon festival

The Temecula balloon festival is the first weekend in June. This was mentioned in the winter thread but thought we should bump it over here to the yak thread. We booked again at Vail Lake RV resort. We are in space 71, and have the TIMEs in 72, Kevbo in 70, Babebloos in 69, GlennG in 74 and Terry (not the shy one anymore!) and Judi in 73. The balloons take off at Lake Skinner, about 10 miles away, and usually can be seen from Vail Lake RV. The mass ascension is pretty spectacular and you can buy tickets to attend to see everything up close and personal. Here is the link:Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival Official Site Debbie

When?

There is already something in mid May-ish...

How about late April - early May?
